2018 College Football Thread: Local man buys some teenage champions a 4 for 4 (1 Viewer)

LOL literally the entire Vandy line was holding and no call. All of them.

Brian Kelly still doing his best to steal defeat from the jaws of victory.

Stanford is going to kill Notre Dame in a few weeks though. This is 2017 redux with Stanford in the Miami role.

It’s early I know, but hard to see why Burrow was so hyped...I know he was a HS legend but wasn’t he supposedly lighting up the OSU D in practice? Doesn’t really seem to have a huge arm or be a big running threat.

Does this mean anything for LSU's season? Even local homer prognosticators spent the off-season heaping poop all over LSU's football program, confidently predicting a 6-win season at best.  Last week's 31-0 win over SE Louisiana was spoken of as a terrible "loss" for the program   I know your Bamas and Clemsons would have beaten SLU by 60, but still.

Have to start believing in Coach O.
There are a lot of locals who will never go there. Orgeron had one chance to win them over -- 2016 vs Bama. After that -- the dude needs to win multiple national titles.

Not going to lie: Saban leaving set the LSU fan base (and maybe the real-life program, even with a Miles-led title) back 20 years. We really, truly, thought Baton Rouge would be Saban's very last stop.

I mean, they look to be in line for a decent season.  Best case, 2nd in the West.  Worst case is still 4th/5th.

New Orleans/Baton Rouge Guys: Matt Moscona has got A LOT of crow to eat. He was treating Auburn hosting LSU as if Auburn was playing a bad junior high squad. He wouldn't come out with a score prediction, of course. Just marked it up as an auto-loss for LSU and a comfortable roll-out-the-helmets cruise for Auburn.

I know Alabama will take us by 3 TDs or more ... let the Purple and Gold faithful bask for a while, until the next "2017 Troy State"-type game.

Furiously refreshing Twitter and the ESPN gamecast because you have no way of watching your alma mater play the game.....it's like 2010 all over again.

Our Bulls knock off another seemingly formidable mid-major, beating Eastern Michigan (who just beat Purdue last week) 35-28.

Junior QB Tyree Jackson quietly building his NFL resume with a very solid 21/26, 325 yards and 3 TD.  Cannon arm, 6'7" 245, and he's got a 12:1 TD:INT ratio through 3 games.

MAC football is still garbage, but it's nice to be 3-0.
