Might be worst prediction ever.Calling it now...Seattle will win a Cup before Buffalo.
Based on track record, I'm pretty confident in it.Might be worst prediction ever.
They're exempt from their share of the 600 million or whatever too. It's a joke Vegas is exempt from the expansion draft.
I took a quick dump and missed four goals.Football score in CBus
Stamkos scored 60 but he seemed to do most of his damage with one-timers. Crosby won two Richards also.Who was the last centre who was as deadly a shooter/goal scorer as Matthews? The Rocket Richard trophy is almost always won by wingers. The best goal scorers the past few years have been Ovechkin/Laine, who are wingers. Late 90s goal scoring leaders were wingers Iginla/Bure/Selanne.
Is it Mario Lemieux? Was Early-career Stamkos this deadly a sniper?
Crosby dominates in a very different way, down low. I'd guess his average goal comes from five-ten feet closer to the net than Matthews' does.Stamkos scored 60 but he seemed to do most of his damage with one-timers. Crosby won two Richards also.
Stammer also plays a lot of wing now. I can't remember where he played back then.Stamkos scored 60 but he seemed to do most of his damage with one-timers. Crosby won two Richards also.
sounds familiarAuston Matthews going to score 50 in 50 this year
He was listed as a C and St. Louis as a RW and Stamkos took the majority of faceoffs, but St. Louis was definitely playing the playmaking role that traditionally would be the centre at that time.Stammer also plays a lot of wing now. I can't remember where he played back then.
He was a Center early with Marty on his wing teeing him upStammer also plays a lot of wing now. I can't remember where he played back then.

@jtbourne: There’s some really awesome work in The Athletic’s “Future of the NHL” package, I highly recommend thumbing through it. Comes w/ a 40% deal, too: http://theathletic.com/nhlfuture
Shouldn't that be 32 thoughts now?Aaron Rudnicki said:

"right now"16. Philadelphia Flyers
There’s not a lot of good news in Philadelphia right now, where the team is losing, people are getting fired and fans are losing hope. If anything, I’m betting that even diehard Flyers fans might think this ranking is too optimistic.
But this is a five-year view, not a snapshot of what’s happening this month. And in the big picture, there’s still reason to like what the Flyers are doing. They’ve got some good young players, including on the blueline. And while the goaltending is a problem right now, Carter Hart is on the way. There are pieces in place, the cap situation is set up nicely and Chuck Fletcher has a mandate to get better right now. This season has shown that the Flyers are further away than we might have thought, but there’s still time to get there.
Odds of a Cup in five years: 13%
Hopefully Hart can end the goalie curse but I'm not holding my breath,Where to stay is not my thing. I think Embassy in Cary is an easy drive to the arena. My house is not close to any of this.@Chemical X
Thanks, I got the tickets!

Looking at hotels now. PM me where you are located so I can pick a hotel not too far away or is the Marriot downtown fine. I was also looking at the Embassy Suites off of 40. I am hoping to come by on Saturday to have my son pick up some things. If there isn't enough time, we could do it on Sunday, but I'd rather not impact your Sunday. You mentioned dinner before the game earlier, let me know if you're still up for that. Thanks again! So looking forward to this trip.
Becoming one of my favourite players to watch. Just in the past few days, we have.So is Dylan Larkin a superstar now, or...? Obviously the skating is elite, in the past two seasons he's gone from a minus in the faceoff circle to very good (won the key draw last night to ice the game), he's always been good on the PK, he's physical for a 'star', draws penalties, can/has to drive a line by himself. Because he plays PK/PP, he's always up over/around 20 minutes a night... I know it's a hot streak of late but I'm super impressed every time I watch him play.
He's really proving himself to be worth the contract at gave him. Dare I say we are a solidly average team?Becoming one of my favourite players to watch. Just in the past few days, we have.

This is the year of the Sabre(tooth).Bolts don’t win it this year and I may need to legit take a year off.
Excellent. Will call you in the afternoon on gameday before we head over to your place.IC FBGCav said:Where to stay is not my thing. I think Embassy in Cary is an easy drive to the arena. My house is not close to any of this.

My boy Tex, who went to the last game me and X went to is having a party on the 22nd, which is his 49th birthday.
So after the game I have to go to his house, which is 30 minutes further west. So the arena is a good mid point.
So......come to my house afternoon gameday. Get the goodies. Me and wife will join you at the game. After game, she will head home to take care of dog. I have to go 30 minutes west to Tex's. You can come or not your choice, not sure I will know many people other than Tex and family.
Tex was my best man and I was his, we live an hour apart, so don't get together much and I know his friends but don't know his friends there, if you get it.
Times like these make me think that there are people like that girl Evee who used to put her fingers together and stop time and then put her palms together to start it again.
