2020-21 NBA *Playoffs* Thread: Bucks are the champs and you can take that to the bank bromigos (2 Viewers)

This is going to be one ugly basketball game.  The refs have buried their whistle to such an extent that there will absolutely be multiple dustups tonight in Game 4.  There's "letting em' play" and then there's what we're watching in the first half thus far.

Defenders are going to make the 90's Knicks players blush with want they'll be doing by the late 3rd.  Crowder/Portis seems like odds on favorite to be face-to-face at some point tonight.

I think they already have.  The last few minutes they started calling fouls.  Thankfully.  Didn't want to see a Royal Rumble break out

He hooked Holiday's arm.  Missed it live myself, but it was obvious on replay.

Overall, Booker needs to stop chirping to the refs and play ball.  He's very physical on defense and pushes off on most isolation plays.  Can't do that and complain non-stop.

Agreed, good call.  I'm guessing Tucker knew the Bucks had a foul to give, but I'm not sure it makes sense to force it that much if it means he gets his 3rd foul just before half.  Same mistake Ayton made just before half in Game 3 when he grabbed Giannis.

 
first half felt like an important regular season game. i think i am more amped than the players.

couple 300mg rockstars, a 9% IPA, put me in coach, i'm ready to play...

think i'll spend halftime in the backyard bouncing nba threes into the neighbor's yard. then hop in the pool, 7:15 in the mojave desert, still 103 degrees...

Don't recall the first but the second one Ayton didn't move his feet enough, was beat on the drive, and just slammed his chest into Giannis.  Easy call.

Don't you know these refs sacrificed so much to volunteer their sucky services through this pandemic?

he needs to study how Draymond handles those types of plays. Chest in not out. Go straight up arms/hands not in front of head. He gets tons of "no calls through contact" by doing this. Ayton pumped his chest into contact both times. They were ticky-tack calls, but they were fouls.

 
Devin Booker has taken 20 shots and 7 free throws already (with ~3 min left in 3rd quarter).  32 points and no other Sun in double digits. 🤨

He may have to do that for another 15 minutes if the Suns want to take a commanding 3-1 series lead.
