Where did they play before the Rose Bowl? Is the attendance because the team sucks or the venue is too big for them?
Nebraska - Illinois was the earliest game ever in the B1G. My D3 private school alma mater went back this week; do big schools start later? I know OSU is on the quarter system; other B1G schools are similar?
I have no idea when other schools start - I think it’s dumb across the board to start before students. You’re taking away part of the experience when you do that.
I don't think he gets fired mid-year unless he kills a kitten in practice or something, but I think he's pretty much done. Before the season I thought they could be a 5-7 win team. Now I'm thinking 4 wins is the ceiling with 2 being more likely.
Oregon doesn't start school until the end of September. It is really really really awkward to go to the first few games and see just a handful of students.

For the first time in my life, I have a rooting interest in college football (no football at either of the schools my wife and I attended). Thanks to my kid, I’ll be catching two USC games at the Coliseum this season. Maybe we’ll get to see you at season’s end.
Oh, NICE! I hope you find the College Game as much fun as I do. I haven't been a pro game in over 25 years (Elway at the old Jack Murphy Stadium in SD - my god could he hum the ball) and doubt I'll ever go since I enjoy it so much on TV. But college is just so much fun. Fraction of the price, so much enthusiasm, not as many bozos. Plus you don't have to go to work the next day.
Thinking also not a fan of the Pac-12 with 2 loss ND ahead of undefeated UW. But, that's not unusual. Pac12 is warmed over sewage.
Lol as much as we dump on the Pac, any 12-0 team coming out of there would not be ranked 12th. 5th at the extreme lowest, probably 3rd.
LA gets deserved fan support grief, but man seeing USC play at the Coliseum is a dam good way to get in to the sport! Hopefully with a good crowd again.
Do they not play USC this year because they’re also 12-0. Oregon is also 10-2 losing to Washington and Ohio State - do they not play USC either?
