Gator fan/parent.  "UF didn't care" is a cop-out but like most programs that just canned their coach coming off an underachieving season, the result was ugly....and predictable. 

Looking forward to hopefully better days. Not looking forward to unbelievably obnoxious UCF fans

picking a bowl pool with coaching changes, transfer portal, and opt outs is madness, especially with some of these no name bowls.

Only 2 strong leans I have are

- take UCF and the points. Florida has interim coach.  Emery Jones is playing but transfer portal after bowl. Best WR and best Edge have opted out. UCF fans have sold out the Gasparilla Bowl. Going to be a UCF home game minus the bouncy stands.

- fade Pitt. Kenny Pickett has covered up a terrible defense and Pickett is opting out.

I came in hoping for another year of "Florida didn't care" and was not disappointed. Maybe the dumbest trope ever conceived in college football. It's like the people who trot it out were not college athletes and seem like they've never even met one. 

The kids care. A lot. A couple of the NFL guys opt out to be safe from injury, but the kids, and the coaches, who play definitely care. I say this as someone who coached college basketball, including some NIT stuff when we really thought were were going dancing, and have a bunch of friends who still work in CFB. You hit the field, you're trying to win.

That is a bad team. I think Napier accomplished his most important task so far on Signing Day…but he has his work cut out for him.
