I agree that both statements are “silly”. If you have 61% of the population vaccinated with more and more getting vaccinated every day it’s not out of the realm to suggest more transmission is occurring from people who are vaccinated today. I don’t agree that it’s factual, yet, but it’s not laughable either. If you live in the North East you’ll be seeing this soon. It doesn’t need to make you more transmissible. We already know vaccinated people can spread it and most of the spreading occurs at home.
If we had a 100% vaccination rate and transmission was still occurring the same would hold true. As our percentage ticks upward it gets closer and closer to being a correct statement. He (Insien) added a question mark I believe for that reason.
