Wow, don't disagree with the record, but the Eagles winning 5 games and none are in the division? Since you obviously think the Eagles are the worst team in the division (0-6), and you predict they will be 5-6 outside the division, do you see the NFC East as that much improved?

I think your best QB is your backup. I was impressed by Miles Sanders. Your receiving corp is FAST but may not get the chance to flourish because I just don't believe in Hurts.

I think Washington is in for a RUDE awakening. They have been hearing about how great their defense is and I agree the DL is damn good, they get a first place schedule and a murderers row of QBs. Fitzmagic has always been consistently inconsistent. I think they should have gone after a game manager/non risk taker at QB. They went the opposite way.

The Giants could be trouble. They might be the most balanced team in the division. They are flying under the radar. I think Danial Jones is a putz but he has shown flashes. He's basically a better Eli Manning....at turning the ball over.

Shade alert! Howie was on WIP this morning and when asked if he had any regrets about drafting Hurts: "We loved Carson, but the fact was that we played 4 playoff games while he was here and needed a backup in all of them."

lol...   sorry ... lack of sleep ...

I'm right next to you in the lack of sleep. 10th day without a day off from work going in at 7AM working almost 10 hr days. Probably will get a day off at some point next year so I might be 2 1/2 weeks before another day off

Do you have any faith in Reagor? All I've heard about him is that he can make a one-handed catch in a scrimmage. He went undrafted in my 16-team league, which I find surprising.

No one knows what to make of him. he didn't do much before he broke his wrist last year. Showed some potential at times but he also seemed to drop a lot of catchable balls and then make an unbelievably catch he shouldn't have. Plus we'll always be comparing him to Justin Jefferson. He was fairly inconsistent and I think Reagors targets go down with Smith here as Hurts and Smith already have Chemistry history working together.

So pumped for Alex!!!

Eagles captains: Fletcher Cox, defensive end Brandon Graham, quarterback Jalen Hurts, center Jason Kelce, safety Rodney McLeod, and linebacker Alex Singleton

Really well deserved, Heard about Kelce earlier this morning as his father in law was in today working on our security cameras. Talked for a bit but he did say the players apparently love this coaching staff right now and are really excited. One of the things he said they love is the age factor as many of the coaches aren't much older then some of the vets and feel the coaching staff will get the players a lot better then say an older staff would.

Giants biggest issue is if they can protect Danny boy plus I'm not sold on Barkley being fully back yet. I'm probably a bit biased but I think Toney could be the best young WR outside of Smith in this division too. The kid has Tyreke Hill Skills to boot.

so... Howie had the right idea... i mean, he's not wrong... but he picked the wrong guy to replace that guy i think. we shall see soon enough!

This team is underrated both on the national and local level.  They could contend for the Division.  After a rough start, this will be one of those teams in late Nov. early/Dec. that are on the bubble.  They don't leave the time zone post DEN....they don't even need to get on a plane.
Looks like we're on an island with our predictions this year.  I wasn't quite as bold as you but I'm on board with your optimism.  The bolded phrase above WILL matter this season.  Guess we'll see.

7-10 (367)

@Atlanta Falcons W (I like the Eagles D over Atlanta.  I think that is what keeps the game in check.)

San Francisco 49ers (Eagles home opener and opponent coming from the West Coast.  They could get a win here, but I think SF is a playoff contender and will edge them out.  Just wouldn't be too surprised if it's closer than we think..)

@Dallas Cowboys (I hate the cowboys, but they have our number.)

Kansas City Chiefs (Our secondary can't stop the air attack.  Mahomes for the win in this one.)

@Carolina Panthers W (I don't believe in Darnold and I believe our DL can hold McCaffrey in check for most of the game.)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Brady is the GOAT.  He is prepared for this game and the TB defense will be too, even with both teams coming off of a 4-day rest.)

@Las Vegas Raiders W (We go on the road prepared.  Our DL pressures Carr all day into making mistakes and we take the win.)

@Detroit Lions (This is a hard game to predict.  I think the Lions will play better than expected and they aren't as bad as they seem.  I'm 50/50 but I think we lose a game we should win and this will be that game.)

Los Angeles Chargers (I think the Chargers only got better from last year.  Not sure if we can stop their offense, so I am chalking this up as a loss)

@Denver Broncos (Another hard game to predict.  If Denver's defense is on, I think Hurts is running for his life and Von Miller is fast..)

New Orleans Saints (This could be another 50/50 game where the Eagles sneak out with a win.  If Winston is the QB, he is prone to make mistakes under pressure and the Eagles could be a good upset here..)

@New York Giants (Battle of PSU Running Backs.  I think we split with the Giants this year.)

@New York Jets (Jets need another year to get stable.  Philly takes the win here and Zach Wilson gets hammered)

Washington Football Team (Their defense is solid.)

New York Giants (Battle of PSU Running Backs, Part Deux.  We are on the losing end of the split.)

@Washington Football Team (Washington is fighting for a playoff spot and come out swinging).

Dallas Cowboys (Dallas is either in the playoffs or out of it.  We play their second string and get a win.)

how does that add up to the Eagles not winning a single division game?

You don’t like Judge? Reminds me of a young Parcells. I like him.
Young Parcels in the 80's or 90's? Sure. That's not going to last long nowadays. If they don't win quick, those players will turn on him so fast he'll say unemployment before he hits the curb.

CeeDee says “hello”

Big Daddy Graham passed away. I thought he was way older but he was only 68. RIP.

RIP Great guy. My friend when he got into the media business did his internship at WIP under him. Solid guy who I got to meet too. Glen MacNow helped him get the Internship as his son went to our school and was 2 grades above us.

Dude reminds me of a wanna be Bill Belichik. We've seen what happens when people try to be BB too much. It only works being an ####### and not caring all the time when you win and you got everyone drinking that kool aid. My Cousin coaches at Saint Joe's Prep and knows people who knew Judge growing up. Didn't have ringing endorsements of the guy and think he has an act and character that will wear thin on players if they don't have success fast. They wouldn't be surprised if this is his only HC gig and he ends up back with NE after he's canned.

Also my Grandma lives in a 65 and older Community in Montco where James Devlin is from and his Grandmother is apparently good friends with his grandmother. He had some good things about Judge but said he didn't think his personality fit HC and but makes a great Assistant or position coach instead.

Let's trade Sanders to the Ravens for a conditional 1st.

I'm cool with this but not for the reasons people think. Yes I was never a big Sanders fan but he's gonna probably command big money soon. With Gainewell here I think we'd be fine. Getting a first now for Sanders when we arent close to contending would be great though. Load up on picks and if we hit we could be in good position for awhile

He wasn't wrong and we all agreed with the premises of this. However I think he took the wrong guy and didn't predict what happened last year happening

Yea last night confirmed for me Dallas wins the division as long as Dak stays healthy.
For me it confirmed Dallas might be in the same boat as last year when Dak was having a historic season through the first 4 games when he was healthy and the Cowboys were 1-3 because of their D and coach.

Herbert could feast on that D next week and they wind up 0-2 to start the year. And Dak's arm might fall off if he has to sling it 50 times a game because they need to put up points to keep pace with the amount of points teams are scoring against them.

Really? I thought they looked pretty much just like last year was shaping up. Yeah, Dak’s numbers and play stand out but the D looks terrible still and despite the huge numbers he’s like 1-3 (should be 0-4) in those games. If they can’t play better defense they can’t expect to be in shootouts like this all year.

Defense got them 3 turnovers and their kicker missed 2 FGs.

That offense will beat the dregs of the league easily. They were saying last night they don't play another team that made the playoffs until week 11. I expect them to have at least 7 wins by then.

I mean it shouldn't really matter. Eagles ain't winning the division. And Dallas isn't winning the Super Bowl. Just see them taking the East easily this year barring a Dak injury.

Please let me know if I come in the Cowboys thread talking trash after taking an L. Only Cowboys fans.  :lmao:

If you guys want to know what it’s like to beat Brady we can tell you about it. Well it’s a little different, the one that comes to mind wasn’t regular season.
