2021 Philadelphia Eagles - Queued up a playlist of our greatest zits throughout the season for final game (3 Viewers)

Great Thanksgiving for Eagles fan:

  1. Dallas lost
  2. Saints lost (drops them further in wildcard hunt)
  3. Bears won (moves our Miami pick up one spot and drops the Giants down a spot for their pick from Bears)
  4. Raiders won (moves our Colts pick up one spot)

Always a fun day to watch Dallas lose on Thanksgiving. Onto the Giants for us, thinking we just keep up the same formula, with different ingredients this week, sans Jordan Howard. Hopefully  Miles can fix his fumbling issue b/c I smell a big day for the ground game again Sunday.

Also - man am I glad to have Devonta on the team. I still get stuck every once in a while thinking its 1999 and "small WRs can't make it" but in this era, this guy is going to be a stud. Love his work ethic and leadership style.

Can't believe there were fans who didn't want this guy. They apparently didn't watch him in college.

Some of that goes to the layers and coaches but I think our schedule recently has helped us out a lot too and making us look a lot better than we are. I'd rather miss the playoffs then be one and don and probably get curbed stomped by whoever we play. Plus I think the team would become complacent and not fix issues thinking "hey we made the playoffs lets just put a band aid like the SB", where as missing the playoffs forces the org to make moves necessary needed to fix the holes.
I don't think we've looked better then we are.  We look like good teams (Dallas, TB, etc..) beat us. We beat bad teams easily.  Average teams we are competitive against and win/lose depending. Puts our record right where I think we are right now, about average.  Which - coming off a 4 win season where we were BAD, I am  happy about. Especially since the first few game we were getting our footing still.  Now - how we react when a team shuts down our rush attack?  We'll probably still lose.  But hopefully we can get better there.

Put me in the I'm still not sold on them as a whole. I didn't believe they were a playoff team going in and still don't. We've yet to see what happens when this ground and pound isn't working and they have to adjust yet.

I went to The Prep's Semi Final game vs Bethlehem's Freedom Patriots as it was at Cardinal O'Hara HS a literal 5 min drive from my house. The Ax Man Jermiah Trotter was there as his son is still playing '23 Grad. Got to talk to JT for a bit too. DeAndre Swift was suppose to apparently be there but after his injury during the thanksgiving game he couldn't travel and had to stay in Det. Marvin Harrison SR was also at the game. Really good game and The Prep has a really good looking RB. Samaj Jones had a nice 30 yard big boy run to the EZ at RB to put the Prep up 10-7 before the Half. Josiah Trotter had a really good stop on a 3rd down in the 3rd QTR. I was standing next to his Dad when that play happened and I told him that play reminded me of him stuffing a Dallas RB in the backfield which got a good laugh out of him.

One of the most interesting kids is 22' South Carolina Commitment Keenan Nelson JR '22 Grad. He's gonna be a problem in the SEC once he's up to speed. Hard to predict if any of these kids got a NFL career but given what I saw from the kid won't be surprised if he succeeds in the SEC at the very least. Jones had a huge 70 Plus run in the 4th for a TD too that got a good reaction from the mostly Pro Prep Crowd as well. The Score was 17-14 with less then 4 left. Prep scored another TD before Freedom scored with 22.5 secs left to make it 24-21. Prep moved on to the QTRs.

It was really fun to get out and watch a HS game again. I hadn't seen my cousin in a football setting in yrs so it was fun to have a chance t watch him. Was a cool experience to see some legends of the NFL there too and the funny thing is most of the people with Trotter JR and Marvin Harrison there acted like it was just a common site at this point. I guess for them it is. My Old High School's Football coach was also at the game and so were some of my HS friends Really fun night also a more interesting HS atmosphere then I normally had experience. There were murmurs Jason Kelce was at the game but I never saw him. Even though he lives 10 mins from where the game was I had my doubts on the rumor given we play in NY this weekend. Home game I wouldn't have been surprised if he was here as he's shown up to a few HS games in the area unannounced over the years. The dude just loves football

Bump Goedert.

I can't help but get that old Philly feeling rise up again that we've let our hopes get up and we're about to have them crushed in the worst possible way.

I dont ever have a problem with djax sometimes long posts.  You don't have to read them.   I find it sad some have to talk down or make fun of them.   Get the #### over yourselves.
His last one doesn't even mention the Eagles and one he just talked about wrestlers

Yeah, I feel like the Saints game has breathed a lot of undeserved bravado in to the folks I’ve talked to.  A lot of 11-6 predictions floating around out there.  That being said, I really don’t see a clear loser game coming up.  In reality my expectation is that we probably do win most of our games going forward and the week 18 game against Dallas ends up being meaningful; they play their starters and we get curb stomped right out of the post season.

I hate to say this, but am I crazy to think the final game of the season could decide the division? Currently two games back, the ease of the remaining schedule. Between now and then they just need to win one more game than Dallas does and at least have the same division record as them (Eagles would win the next tie breaker of common games).

That can't really happen, right?

Whelp, so much for that.

This coaching staff takes this loss on the chin. No Howard and they decided to go back to the week 2-7 playbook. How the #### does Sanders have 9 carries? Scott gets 15 carries for the same amount and fumbles anyway. Un ####### real.

Seriously WHAT IS THE ####### POINT OF HAVING MILES SANDERS!!!??! He's a young cheap RB for 2 more years and they do everything they can not to use him.

Why use him when Boston Scott can fumble away the game with 2 minutes left?

Im sure coach with deflect about his ankle or something but he came back in after that and looked fine.

He thrives high pointing balls like that in the end zone.  :lmao:

Seriously someone that drafted these clowns needs to be fired, any of us could have drafted off Madden/NCAA 2021 ratings and landed Jefferson and other better players across the board.

Pretty sure Sanders was hurt and Scott played well either way.

This game was all on Hurts until that last drive.

If there’s any silver lining, he (Hurts) seems to really play well when things are on the line. 2 absolutely perfect passes that need to be caught. The Ward one as well.

Man. I think this team may have the worst WR corps in the NFL and it's probably not close. I watched the second half thinking Hurts must look awful and I just saw drops left and right. That one hitting Reagor in the face was, yes, probably a PI but also very catchable even with the contact.

Hurts did look awful and so did the WR’s but only on that last drive and it was the same WR.

And I know it’s supposed to be “pissed off” time but this didn’t shock me. We’ll beat them next time.

Still go all defense in the draft and get a couple bangers in FA.

yeah, i mean you can't get passes better than those hitting Raegor right in the hand. the last drive was a good drive by Hurts, really can't get on him about that

It's embarrassing an adult posts 3 paragraphs in an Eagles message board that has zero relevance to the Eagles.

Actually a former Eagles son plays for the team but hey you'd actually know that if you actually read it.

Cut, trade or make Reagor inactive. There isn’t a single reason to play him after that drive.

HOW MANY PASSES ARE RIGHT ON HIM?!

He's embarrassingly bad. Give me more Quiz and bring up Hightower.

Hurts was awful today. All 3 of his picks were on him. 2nd Half one he looked straight at the guy and it was under thrown, end of first half at the goalie he doesn't throw it away and take the 3 and when he does throw it he throws it straight to a Giants defender. The 1st pick was just as inexcusable. He has a wide open Miles Sanders in the flat for at least a first down and maybe more and throws it into triple coverage. Yes the offense as a whole was horrible and he didn't target Devonta Smith at all on the last drive. However Hurts himself cost us at least 6 pts in this game that could've had a tie. The Wr's are young other then Reagor we really like our guys.

I wouldn't be shocked. As much as we all keep hating on this guy he has made some pretty tough catches. I'd honestly healthy scratch Reagor and see if JJAW could do anything with extended time.

I landed a guy a while ago maybe 4 yrs from the randomized draft. Dude was like a DeAndre Hopkins/Randy Moss/DeSean Jackson all in one. Drafted him in the 4th round too. Probably my most prized draft pick ever in a Madden game. Dude had a weird name and long hair too. Also could be a returner too. I got an A when I drafted him too. Only reason I drafted the guy was I needed a tall WR and he had a great 40 time too.

One of Hurts biggest issues is playing against Zone Defenses. He's struggled big time against them since last year and Giants played all zone.

The ignore function also does wonders too. Also it doesn't look good for a forum who's main website is running based on subscribers and might make a potential sub think twice about joining or others making negative reviews about said website
