2021 Philadelphia Eagles - Queued up a playlist of our greatest zits throughout the season for final game (5 Viewers)

if there was one thing i wish Siriani would do it would be to design 1-3 plays for Mailata to get the ball. imagine if he can somehow break past the DL, secondary and probably most LBers would likely run the opposite way seeing him run at them

Said this when he was drafted I wished they would design a few players for him. Similar to what Bears and Eagles used William Perry.

It already happened this morning. He reported that Lurie is still high on Hurts, but that Howie has soured on him, creating some internal conflict in the front office.

This seems right but I never was told who was who in terms of on Hurts side and who wasn't. I just know that Howie drafted Reagor and Hurts for Doug and was hoping drafting them could save their relationship. Howie really did want Jefferson from what I heard but like what's been reported Doug and staff thought JJ was just a slot guy

just reported over the wire, Hurts out tomorrow, Minshew to start. You can't script things better than this.
Minshew going against the worst defense in football. He'll probably have 4TDs and 350 yds. Then all these people on the radio who say they still want hurts will be saying you have to bench him after the bye.

This seems like a timing decision. If it weren’t the Jets followed by the bye, Hurts probably plays. But weighing the risk vs reward it probably makes more sense to let him heal up and be better for the final 4 game stretch against the NFC East.

Also, Hurts > Minshew.  But not sure thats true of a hobbled Hurts. His mobility is 70% of his game.

Not sure Hurts>Minshew even at 100%.

(MAY (probably does) have the higher ceiling though....not trying to rehash that argument! ;)  )

We are in 6th in the NFC and 7 make playoffs.  That's messed up.

Pretty much if you finish over .500 this year in the nfc, you'll make playoffs.

I think it will work itself out that 10 wins is the marker.
On 2nd look, It's actually mathematically impossible for this.  All the 5 win teams (there's 5 of them) would have to end the season 5-0 (which can't happen due to matchups) for a 10 win team to get the 7 seed.

Yup - even with a 6 team playoff, it’s pretty rare  for a 6 seed to have 10 wins.  I would guess the 7 seed will have 8 wins at most.

well it is a 17 game season this year so that's saying 8-9 at best... which actually might end up being the case.  last 2 seeds likely are 8-9 or 9-8.

An 8-9 team will have the 7 seed. But there may be 2 or 3 8-9 teams
Yep.

The Miles and Kelce injuries certainly don't help us there.  Decent upcoming schedule though.  I'm just shocked that we are in the playoff hunt this year...did not expect that at all.|

Few weeks ago we were looking at 3 top 10 picks.  Now we might not even have a single one in the top 15.

Just saw Dallas Goedert post game interview and Miles walked up normal to him and patted him on the butt. Looked to be in a good mood. So he might be ok.

I didn't see the game but 80% completion and 12 ypr isn't bad.  He must have very good ball placement and decision making.
a ton of passes were checkdowns and to TE, managed game well

Nice win.

minshew looked pretty good.    The defense seemed non existent in the first half.    It is nuts that we have a decent shot at the playoffs. Sure don't seem playoff worthy

Gotta say that Sirianni’s on a nice little streak here with the offense too. Outside of the Giants game, we’ve been putting up some points lately.
