@Capella one of your first good thread titles. Great job!
Thanks, this means a lot coming from you, the worst poster who has ever lived.

I am going to report @Frostillicus because of this post!
Frost doesn't even make my top 12 of all time worst posters on this board.
That’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said about him
I feel God in this Chili's tonight.
That’s just the riblets

I only saw the last few minutes. I had a tennis match and then was grocery shopping. My chucklehead brother who lives in FL and two meathead friends of ours from Boston always text back and forth. I was busy, so hadn't replied. I got home, read all their messages (it was like 130 or some ****) and didn't look at the score.

I would have guessed the Celtics were down by like 30 the entire game. To my surprise, BOS was up like 7 when I looked.

Those 3 dudes are idiots is the obvious reason

13 points in the 4th. That's impressive ineptitude
really was so anti-game 5. I mean bombing 3s at the end of shot clock with no one around to even try an offensive rebound. Barely passing and zero motion on offense. i really wonder if they somehow conceeded to give this game up and save it for game 7 with the absolute lack of effort at some points

Series over now.
Don’t ever change Sixers fans
Based on that collapse and body language I will be utterly shocked if they win a game 7 on the road
Hmm this sentiment from Sixers fans sounds eerily familiar after game 3. Game 7 man - coin flip.
Honestly listening to talk radio the last 2 days, this was exactly the result I expected. Everyone was taking a victory lap with a 3-2 series lead. No one was even considering Sixers could blow it. Just Celtics choked and their coach is an idiot. And they gave them life.

Read somewhere on the Google that Mark Jackson was the only voter for MVP that didn't have Jokic in his top 5

SMH
Mark Jackson was a horrible, overrated head coach. Then he was a horrible, overrated announcer. Apparently he's also a horrible, overrated analyst of basketball

Can I get an amen? Hand down, man down.

Poor KD. Maybe he can rejoin Curry so that he can win meaningful games again.
Playing on a team with Steph Curry >>>>>>>>> Playing on a team with Chris Paul

If Devin Booker got every foul call he thought he deserved in the first half, the Suns would only be down by 15-20.

This replay of last year's loss to the Mavericks in the playoffs is going to get Monty Williams fired and DeAndre Ayton (among others) traded.

Yeah, I totally forgot this happened in Phoenix last year too.

Seeing Ayton giggle on the bench like nothing is wrong when they’re down 30+ makes me feel a certain way and I’m not a Suns fan. What a waste of a 1.1 and a max contract.

You know what doesn't get talked about enough? How Magic's retirement helped Jordan's legacy. In 1990-91 the Bulls beat the Lakers for their first title with Magic hobbled with a bad hammy and Byron Scott out. That year Magic averaged 19/13/7 and finished runner-up to Michael in the MVP vote. He was 31 but wasn't slowing down at all. The Lakers would have been bringing back the entire team who won 58 games that year, and Divac in his third year and Elden Campbell in his 2nd would be a year better with Magic/Worthy/Scott basically still in their late prime.

That Lakers team had been in four of the last five finals, winning 2, with magic having won 3 of the last 5 MVPs. There is no way the Bulls get that first 3-peat if Magic is still playing.

TL/DR Jordan is a fraud because Magic had to retire in his prime.

Joker feels like a substantially bigger Magic to me. Not for the flashy passes but just the way he dominates in so many ways and by simply getting his teammates the ball where they need it. I hope they or Lebron wins it.
