That was exactly my thought process as well. Felt I could get two "good value" players and still land Kawhi. His upside is so high, it's worth the risk he doesn't stay healthy.

A lot is made (rightfully) of his missing games, but it's a bit overstated because the entire league does it now. You saw it with the Suns in the first two games already. Booker looked great in game 1 and sat out two nights later.

For example, games played the last four full seasons for each player:
Kawhi: 60, 57, 52, (0), 52
Butler: 58, 52, 57, 64
Durant: 78, (0), 35, 55, 47
LeBron: 67, 45, 56, 55
Embiid: 51, 51, 68, 66
Steph: 69, (5), 63, 64, 56
Giannis: 63, 61, 67, 63
Doncic: 61, 66, 65, 66
There's not a 70 game season in that entire group over the past four seasons (only one listed was Durant 5 yrs ago).

The two superstars I feel should be put in another category of reliability are:
Tatum: 66, 64, 76, 74
Jokic: 73, 72, 74, 69
That's it really. Every other player that could carry a team to a title is missing ~ 20-30 games. We'll see how much the 65 game award cutoff changes that this season. ??

Thanks Scoob. I think Turner is the perfect fit to complete my core. Banchero and Turner are perfectly complementary on offense and defense, and O.G. is a high defense wing option. Building outside-in because the best guards went before I could really grab them.

Banchero not much of a 3pt shooter, but fantastic in all the other offensive elements and can be the hub to power a team. Turner a stretch 5 type on offense. Banchero not doing a lot of rim protection but is 6'10"...Turner is a fantastic rim protector.

I like the start. Not as much as if I had gotten Durant in the second (so close!) or something like that, but still I like it a lot.
