I really wonder what would have happened if Travis wasn’t hurt. Would they really have left out the SEC champ if that had happened?

I picked Oregon to win it all ahead of the conference championship games so it’s not like I really know anything but I kept telling you people they were not leaving out the SEC.

FWIW, the Big Ten was awful this year, outside of Michigan and Ohio State
Totally agree, which is why a 1 loss Ohio State team has no argument for making it in even with that ND win.

I can't believe they still think they have a shot. Didn't even play yesterday. Since when do you get rewarded for doing nothing?
There are 5 deserving conference champions. Nobody who didn't win a conference has any shot at all.
You know how delusional some fanbases are though

What a joke.
Had any other team lost their QB would this have been the case? Nope.
If it read Clemson instead of FSU, would this have been the case? Nope.

So this committee kept FSU #4 for the two weeks after their QB got hurt, they won those games. Now they have won those two games they decide to move them out of the top 4.

Why not move them out of the top 4 as soon as he got hurt? Because that is the only reason they are being left out.

This one hurts even though I know the FSU team would not be a favorite in the semis or finals. Their D played their hearts out the last couple of games without Travis. I still had hopes that FSU would make it and pull of a an upset or 2…

Not sure what else could they do besides go 13-0. Like said earlier I’m super hurt.

Not saying they should have had to but if they had pounded Louisville last night with a backup then they probably do get in.

He was the backup to the backup. The weather was terrible and he was a True Freshman playing his first game.

I mean they absolutely dominated that game on defense, and as everyone has pointed out multiple times the 2nd string guy would be back for the playoff. This was the convenient excuse to do what they wanted to do. They were in a tough spot for sure

Yep and if he had played a lot better I think they maybe get in. Totally unfair and nobody has a great 3rd string guy - sucks and I feel bad for you.

I wonder if OU gets a bump over the other 2-loss masses with SMU winning yesterday. OU will have two wins over NY6 teams, assuming SMU gets the nod, but seems like we are destined for the Alamo Bowl

Not that I necessarily agree with it but they are telling us how much they thought of Georgia going into last night. I’m just glad this is the last season with four teams. It’s been obvious forever that more teams should have a chance to play for a championship.
