Wow, can’t believe they lost. Weren’t they favored by like 15-16 points since everyone on the Hawks was out?Celtics playing like crap tonight. Giving up 17 offensive rebounds and have 18 turnovers. Giving the other team 35 extra possessions is not a formula for success.
And finish with 20 turnovers and Hawks have 20 offensive rebounds and Celtics lose by 1 to a Hawks team without Trae Young.Celtics playing like crap tonight. Giving up 17 offensive rebounds and have 18 turnovers. Giving the other team 35 extra possessions is not a formula for success.

The game winning bucket was an offensive tip in.

I actually don't have a lot of confidence in Boston to care enough to try and win the IST. I had them with 3 wins in the group and then bowing out of the bracket early. My IST bracket in shambles. And finish with 20 turnovers and Hawks have 20 offensive rebounds and Celtics lose by 1 to a Hawks team without Trae Young.Celtics playing like crap tonight. Mavs game still hasn't tipped off West coast sucks ugh
They keep pushing it back for some reasonMavs game still hasn't tipped off West coast sucks ugh
Not even 7 here, bruh.
Wow. What a collapse by the Pistons. Awful.
Herro is out of his mind tonight.
Reading some player quotes today, they definitely seem to be into the nba cup. Pretty interesting considering how many blew it off when announced.

Probably had to push it back to honor The Captain
I love these courts. All of them
Wolves with an absolutely pathetic effort tonight. Probably need to look to package Randle and DiVincenzo with a pick to get star. Maybe KAT is available.
please god tell me every page isn't going to be half posts about Bronny all season. please. i'm begging.
The Los Angeles Lakers have decided that Bronny James will only participate in G League home games, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
"He's only going to play in the South Bay Lakers' home games. He's only going to kind of be a part-time G League player, and he's not getting on United Airlines to fly to these road games," Windhorst said on the Hoop Collective podcast. "I know he's getting somewhat special treatment and nepotism. That's fine. Honestly, I don't care. Like I said, it's normal.
"Now, I think it's actually detrimental to him. I don't like that," the NBA insider added. "I don't know whose idea it was, but obviously, the Lakers are fine with it -- they're doing it. In this particular instance, I think that's gone too far, and I don't think it benefits Bronny. I don't think it benefits the South Bay Lakers, and I don't think it benefits LeBron at this point."
Bronny, the 20-year-old son of LeBron James, made his G League debut last Saturday against the Salt Lake City Stars. He played 31 minutes, scoring six points on 2-of-9 shooting from the field, including 0-for-4 from beyond the arc. The 6-foot-3 guard also contributed three rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a blocked shot.
Related - from Zach Lowe (who is starting to post on Twitter) Dyson Daniels is averaging 3.6 stl/gm. The only team they've faced with a winning record so far was Golden State . . . so no.Celtics playing like crap tonight. Giving up 17 offensive rebounds and have 18 turnovers. Giving the other team 35 extra possessions is not a formula for success.
Have the Celtics beat a team with a winning record yet this year?

I mean Marion and Battier jump to mind but maybe not in the right spirit?I saw a question on /r/NBA that got me thinking - who are some players that fans are going to see the stats for in 20/30/50 years and wonder how they were ever rated so highly? Who are those guys that you just had to watch with your eyes to understand?
The thread that got me thinking about this was comparing Iverson to a more contemporary player. Iverson is 100% that kind of player for me - take away the context of some of his inefficiency (team makeup, league inefficiency, arguably the worst rules era for small guards) and I can see it. You just had to see him to really get it.

I don't think fans in the future will understand how Iguadola is the only player to trust when the Martian death ray was pointed at us.I saw a question on /r/NBA that got me thinking - who are some players that fans are going to see the stats for in 20/30/50 years and wonder how they were ever rated so highly? My fantasy team would also like more minutes for Tari Eason
At what point does Milwaukee consider trading him for a super-charged return for their inevitable rebuild? With a minute left in the first Q, Giannis has 20 of MIL’s 22 points. Lol.
ETA: 27-24 Pistons at the end of one. Giannis has 22.
He's no KCP, that's for sure.I know I've posted my disdain for Jabari Smith before but just heard a stat that on open 3s he's the worst shooter in the NBA at 15%. Shooting was supposedly his strong point but I haven't seen ANY improvement since he's entered the league. Udoka really needs to let the better player start (Tari) and if it wouldn't crush his trade value I'd be open to sending him to the G-League to join Cam. He's that bad

Not before mid-January when the whole league is eligible to be traded. I could see them getting the best return possible this season on Lopez but shopping Dame and Gianni's this off-season.At what point does Milwaukee consider trading him for a super-charged return for their inevitable rebuild? With a minute left in the first Q, Giannis has 20 of MIL’s 22 points. He'll be 30 next month and they ****ing suck with no real hope on the horizon (Dame is 34- making 48.7 mil this year/54 mil next year/58.5 the next year, Middleton is 33 and semi dead- making 31.6 this year/34 next, Brook Lopez is 36 and unsigned for next year). They haven't developed a home-grown player under Giannis since... ever?
I suppose they can just play this season out and he'll still retain his value, but man.
Yeah I suppose Middleton counts, wasn't really considering him since they didn't draft him but they did acquire him right after his rookie year. Also, fwiw, they developed Middleton and Brogdon with Giannis. I would also argue they developed Lopez as well - he's a completely different player offensively and defensively than he was with LA. Overall, fair point though.
