That's kinda wild. That injury looked so bad. As someone who has had way too many ankle injuries doing the same thing, I almost threw up last night watching that. I get so queasy when I see dudes roll their ankles like that

Great defensive presence who seems to gobble up all loose balls (pause) . I'd put him up there in elite rebounder territory with the likes of Rodman. Steven Adams has rebounded an astounding 22.5% of all Houston misses in his minutes. That would be the highest single-season ORB% in recorded NBA history (since '73-74 for O-boards, minimum 500 minutes)

Adams is one of the best team rebounders I’ve ever seen. So many of Westbrook’s rebounds when he was with the Thunder were a result of Adams basically blocking out the entire opposition. He’s so much so fun. One of the toughest and most physical guys in the league but he does it without being dirty. Seeing him destroy a guard with a an actual non-moving screen is one of the best things to watch in the NBA. He sent someone from the Hawks into the shadow realm the other night.

I came home and turned on the Celtics game and am happy to see they are up 25 right before the half.
They proceed to have 3 consecutive 0-pass possessions (Holiday, Brown & Pritchard) where the guy dribbling it up the floor just dances with the ball and then shoots a poor stepback three and misses it. Pritchard's was an airball right before the buzzer. Meanwhile the Suns score 6 points and they go to the half up only 19.
That's like grade school level poor shot selection. It's like a bunch of dudes just decided it was their turn and they weren't going to pass. Maybe one of them was a 2 for 1 decision, but still, you can at least try and throw 1 pass in there.

Looked him up, it is Jarace Walker and he only played 8 minutes total in that game. Must be a good defender to be in on that possession, but if he tries to get to the rebound at all he could have at least made it difficult to tip it.

I think the Wizards got a little nervous after going 6-4 over a 10-game stretch and now all their vets are coming down with injuries. Now guys like Jaylen Martin, Colby Jones, and JT Thor are getting big minutes. And yet they still beat the 76ers last night, after losing five in a row. I suspect Poole will be "injured" soon. Not much risk of losing a bottom-three record, but they need to continue giving their youngest players the most minutes possible.

I'm pretty sure that almost every person that follows basketball would list LeBron as no less than the second best player of all-time - and I hear analysts praising what he's doing at his age as incredible almost any time i turn on ESPN and they're discussing the NBA (which isn't that often anymore, but enough to feel I can speak competently to it).I know, right? Carlisle made two bad mistakes on the last couple possessions. First, he didn’t call their last TO when they had the ball to get Halliburton back in the game for their last possession (missed shot). Second, even after their miss they had a foul to give, which would have allowed them to get Turner in for the last defensive possession (could have helped on that rebound). They tried to tell the players to foul but they didn’t hear - a TO when they had the ball could have communicated that to the team better.

Celtics with a home game last night in Phoenix. Absolutely destroyed the Suns.
Suns are horrible to watch. Embarrassing they still may find their way into play in as Kings are equally horrible and Mavs have everyone hurt.
I'm still amazed the Kings couldn't find a way to get Castle in the Fox deal and settled for Lavine's terrible contract and a 1st rounder 25 years from now
