2024 College Football Thread: Ohio State advances to play unbeaten hypothetical SEC team (4 Viewers)

Even with the refs missing 2 face masks, a horse collar tackle, a **** spot on a conversion right before a td, gotta expect home cooking in cfb, but this is borderline ridiculous

No tthat anyone cares about VT, but it's unacceptable that we extended Whit Babcock as AD for 5 more years. Been AD for 10 years. Fundraising is down. Corporate sponsorships are down. Football in the tank. Womens bball lost the only HC that's ever been good in the last 10 years. Non revenue sports mostly in the tank except for wrestling. The guy can't: 1) fundraise 2) get corporations to commit 3) market us to a meaningful conference when the ACC dies 4) pick good coaches or 5) figure out how NIL works.. 25th highest revenue in ticket sale for any football program, but nothing to show for it. JMU, UVA, and even ODU are on the upswing in state. Guy is the definition of mediocrity. Mountain dwelling hick network is strong at VT. The board must be hopped up on moonshine and cow dung to have extended this guy.

:crying: One missed tackle and wala. USC play calling and QB very suspect, but that defense was nice. And Michigans defensive line was just monstrous. See you all next year.

Oof ND. Leonard is doing just enough for the coaches to keep the team in purgatory. He’s no good and it’s really a reflection of Freeman that he stubbornly sticks with him.

NIU losing, USC losing, and the defense has given up 39 points all year. The schedule is Charmin soft and you should be 4-0 with this schedule. ND’s headed for a date with playoff disaster if they back into it this year.

That was a good game. Better than I thought it was going to be.
There's like 39 games on. Which one are you talking about?
Sorry. The Michigan USC game
2 storied programs, both in the top 20, why wouldn't you expect a great game?
Primarily because Michigan has been mediocre and is very much trying to figure out how to move forward with all the losses.

It appears they are going to go the Tebow route moving forward. Lets see how far it takes them. I think it likely carries them against teams with soft trench play. Not sure about the ones with trench play.
