King fumble at end of regulation was the killer but Tech play calling in OT was horrible. It’s like they said - we can’t run anything but what we practiced as a 2-pt conversion.

I guess it’s the old man in me but I hated Tessitore in his wwf voice last night screaming FOR THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF every time Georgia had a 2 point try to win the game. It used to be enough to win a huge rivalry game, now everything revolves around this stupid playoff.

I figured I would be the oddball but the Tessitore screaming and Gus Johnson over the top screaming irritates me too. Not to mention the ESPN announcers practically cheering for the SEC teams but I'm used to that. I'll take Nessler/Danielson or McDonough/McElroy or Fowler/Herbstreit over those guys any day.
Hats off to Georgia Tech. Played above their head and fought hard. Rivalry games are awesome.

He did yell STING EM when Tech scored at one point but I just generally hate the over the top yelling. This isn’t macho man/hogan in 88 please calm down.

The only thing I like about Tessitore is that he seems to look at Palmer with utter contempt each time they show them in the booth.

The other side of it was the certainty of the proclamation. Yeah it’s not likely that Georgia is left out even if they lose the SECCG, but the certainty he had about last night was also nauseating.
Say it’s likely or all but likely means, but then gushing over the SEC team certainly getting in is what fans are beyond over. If people want to punish SMU for maybe losing in the ACCCG and then glossing over over it for the SECCG, that’s the part that sounds hypocritical too.
