2024 College Football Thread: Ohio State advances to play unbeaten hypothetical SEC team (3 Viewers)

This is why NCAA football blows away the NFL.
Nah. A 13-0 team didn’t get a chance to play for the title last year because “they’d be a 10 point dog on a neutral field, everybody knows they’d lose”. The fact this is actual discourse makes it significantly worse.
12 seeds now…..no more BS anymore. Except for fans of seed 13.
I guess, but I will literally never get over it. Especially seeing how our defensive guys are playing in the league.

Let's say you are Oregon. Is it fair that you might have to face a Texas AM squad who lost four games? What is accomplished with that except $$$. This is a season and league now that anyone can beat anyone.

Jeremiyah Love is a grown man. Two plays in the opening drive he carried 4 or more Trojans for a lot of extra yards. And right one cue, he runs over their safety too.

Is the only way Days saves his job a National Championship?
I would think so. Can`t lose 4 in a row to Michigan and keep your job. This year was the worst though as Michigan had no offense at all and a walk on QB.

Howard got paid big money and the stage was too big for him.
Only 2 quality players on the team, voluntarily ran right at them. Over and over and over again. Michigan's only 2 viable weapons, out. All American corner too. That was an objectively bad football team that played poorly...and won anyway.

Can't get more on brand, Ryan. Give him a lifetime contract

ND kicking has been truly awful all year. It’s this team’s Achilles heel. Can’t keep USC in this game, but they’ve been sleep walking since the first drive.

Seems like he's gonna need it just to get to that 100 he was yappin about.

Josh Pate was on our local radio this morning and had a mind blowing stat.....

6 FBS teams have led in every 4th quarter this season. USC is one of them...USC has 5 losses.
The other five teams have 5 losses combined.

Lincoln Riley has forgotten how to close out games.
Six teams have held 4q leads in every game - USC lost five times. The other five teams combined to lose five.

SC came to play today. ND defense still hasn’t figured out its adjustments and ND can’t capture the momentum. Golden’s got to switch something up at the half.

Dear Ohio State,

Please don't fire Ryan Day.

Signed, Michigan fans.

Does he have the most punchable face in college football? I don't know if it's the Steven Segal Just For Men kit, the plastic surgery or just appearing to be a major douche in all the interviews I've heard him in.
There's an eerie resemblance to James Lipton. Should serve him well next year when he's hosting Inside the Coach's Studio.

And that’s what makes it so much more interesting now.
