I personally think Clippers are guilty as hell and have a history of this kind of stuff at a smaller level (some of which has already been punished and/or investigated).

Based on Silver’s initial responses, my guess is the clippers get a relative slap on the wrist and that it happens after the all-star game. Clippers get fined $7.5m and lose 1-2 draft picks in the far future. Balmer and Wong get a couple months suspension starting next season.

Kawhi’s contract gets voided, but as Kev mentioned it happens after this season. This probably helps out the Clippers long term unless the league gets creative and makes them do a waive and stretch to give them a cap hit. His agent and Uncle Dennis get sanctioned and/or suspended.

Yeah, I’ve been a Lakers fan most of my life, but I’ve been to way more Clippers games than Lakers games over the years. Used to sneak down to the floor level back in the old LA Sports Arena when I was a kid and waited outside the locker rooms to get autographs after the games.

My Mom got me and my dad a 3 or 4 game "pack" for the Clippers for a couple of Christmases. I remember one year it also came with a pass to a "draft party" on the floor of the Sports Arena. I think it was the year they picked Bo Kimble.

While the vast majority of NBA off-season moves were completed by early July, a few restricted free agents remained unsigned throughout the summer. Kuminga was one of these.

Besides the Kawhi stuff that broke earlier this month, there wasn’t much else for NBA folks to talk about. This created a spotlight on Kuminga that was oversized.

It's just something to talk about, honestly. He remains unsigned, and Golden State is an intriguing team, thus the chatter. He is not particularly good, although if he figures a few things out he could be a starter on a good team. He is still just 22 years old

the only "reliable" streaming site i know of, and used regularly for the last few years, has gone in the toilet this NFL season. buffering and dropping every couple of minutes, rendering games unwatchable.

tried it for golf, soccer and even boxing... sucks no matter what sport.

has me considering paying for Sunday Ticket to get the best out of market games. Until this season, i could just stream them flawlessly

It's one of the reasons I think Ballmer is sort of at a disadvantage these days since he doesn't really seem to have that apparatus (i.e. a large family office) at his disposal and had to rely on something like this to juice the package to Khawi.

One of the weird pieces of the Clippers thing that is so striking is how mom and pop Ballmer's investment process seems to be. If that's the case it's understandable why he was an easy mark, but its also much tougher to get money to superstars in other ways. It's sort of akin to the progression from steroids to peptides and other newer treatments. The way Ballmer (and Cuban for that matter) run their investments seem very 2000s (a lot of these singular rich older guys do).

It's also much much much harder to do anything about the PE/VC stuff since its the players money.

Tomorrow is Amazon Prime day. He’s done commercials for them before.

Meanwhile, because people are what they are, ticket prices for the last Lakers home game of the season have surged from $80 minimum to over $500 based on this more than likely marketing tease.

I guess the original The Decision wasn't off-putting enough for one man's lifetime.

I try to like, or at least tolerate the guy because of the the immense talent and what he's accomplished but good lord, it's just not possible.
