Pablo Torre is certainly finding stuff out at a breakneck pace.
Ballmer ripping on Apple and this new over-priced iPhone they're coming out with is one of my favorites. He literally laughs about it, repeatedly, with unmatched arrogance. Can we just sell the Clippers to someone new and move them to Seattle already and just forget the last 55 years of their existence ever happened?
Here's the podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4RrHWCQh08I googled that and got nowhere. Would love to hear more about this. Jerry Sloan being a large percentage is interesting. Were there any sort of implications with the Sloan angle? I'd guess hard no, and if there actually was anything, it's gotta be far, far underneath the NBA rug, but have to ask. Up to 200 million? What made him stop?So Pablo has Bob Voulgaris on the pod today...made 8-10 million a year for 15-17 years (I'm guessing that's lowballed) gambling on the NBA (a large percentage of that was betting Jerry Sloan, Utah first half unders). Used Blitzarian (which makes a ton of sense in retrospect) as one of his beards. Bob thinks both the NBA and to a lesser extent the NFL are in trouble if they don't get away from a W-L based draft (lotteries) since you can't tell draft tanking from gambling tanking.
I know nothing about pro gamblers but that seems like a ton. Wow. And for such an extended period. How did he not get cut off? How much did it cost to run that kind of outfit, and how'd he keep it going, etc? Wild.
Jimmy deserves one.So is this a trend?
Lakers 2020 NBA champs win the first NBA inseason tournament

Warriors 2022 NBA champs win the the third NBA inseason tournament???

they need more analysts imo. 6 or 7 isn’t enough to analyze a game. The Amazon studio show is really really good.
I know it is early and I am cautiously optimistic about the Pistons, but I want to see a win against the 76ers. Six of their wins are against verse bad teams and they are 1 - 2 against good teams. Plus a great start might get the Pistons to make a strong move, I feel like they are a number 2 player away at the three or four from being a legit contender in the East.

There you go. Win in Philly. 8-2 overall. Cade was phenomenal in the 2nd half.
From my alma mater, UC Santa Barbara. He's looking great.Thunder found another diamond in Ajay Mitchell
I stand corrected - every game has been nuts tonight.Wow the last 30 seconds of the Portland - Orlando game were nuts. Bane with a walk off after a couple crazy plays down the stretch by both teams.
Just saw highlights since I was busy at a work event and/or watching the MNF game, but this is spot on!I stand corrected - every game has been nuts tonight.Wow the last 30 seconds of the Portland - Orlando game were nuts. Pelinka should hire him as assistant GM.Nico fired?

crazy that they believed in Nico enough to let him make such a huge trade and then turned around and fired him 9 months later.Mavs had to do it. Nico was compromised, he couldn’t be objective about what to do with Anthony Davis going forward. Their timeline is 100% Flagg now and they need to start making moves in that direction.
Still cannot believe that the team that posed the most immediate threat to the Thunder took themselves apart.
I agree although Davis and Kyrie might be difficult to move.Mavs had to do it. Nico was compromised, he couldn’t be objective about what to do with Anthony Davis going forward. Their timeline is 100% Flagg now and they need to start making moves in that direction.

I'm sure they'll get boatloads for AD, Kyrie, and Klay.
