2025 College Football Thread: “Lane won’t do the same thing he’s done for 18 years to us!” LSU says to itself (28 Viewers)

If an undefeated FSU can be removed from the playoffs for losing a QB, shouldn't an 11-1 Ole Miss be removed for losing their coach and entire offensive staff and potentially some players too?

Good point but i would argue that not only is this ole miss team better than that fsu team but their resume is also better. The acc is a joke of a confernce and has been for a long time
Argue as you wish, but talking about conferences instead of the individual teams makes little to no sense, especially in this context. The conference isn't assigned the spot in the playoff, the teams are

lol that fsu team had Jared Verse and Brandon Fiske starting on that defensive line, is the NFC west that they are dominating a joke too?

FSU also beat LSU and Florida that year.

I didnt say they didnt have any good players.

The acc is lucky to have 2 good teams at the same time. Its been that way for like 20 years. You dont even have one this year.
I don’t care about the acc this year or most years. That 2023 fsu team was awesome and got jobbed by the committee. The defense could have kept them in against anybody.
Agree to disagree. I saw a first round exit for that team. Most likely in blowout fashion. No one wants to watch that. Thats why they were excluded.
I don't know why you quoted me on this line. You choose whatever subjective criteria you want, but "I think this thing might happen in the future and I don't want to watch that" probably takes the cake on the "hot takes" circuit. Not sure I've ever heard a decision like that being made based on predicting what might happen in the future. There's literally no way to discuss that in any sort of objective way. Well done.
He's a long time known SEC guy. He has 16 favorite teams. Pointless to even discuss football with him.
Ahhhhhh....thanks for the tip.
