12. Georgia Tech - What sort of efforts are being made to retain Coach Key? Whatever they are, they should triple them.

Few thoughts here:

1. Today will be a tough game for Tech. We never seem to play well in Durham and Duke is a goodish team. Key has a great record against ranked opponents but not great against unranked. It’s probably good that he can play up the disrespect angle as we are underdogs today.
2. Key has done a great job and I love him but Tech isn’t the 12th best team in the country (yet). Deserved ranking as they’ve beaten everyone in front of us.
3. Key is an alum - I see almost no scenario that he leaves for another program. He’d like nothing better than make Tech relevant and knock UGA down a peg or two. But he doesn’t even have to compete for the playoffs - most Tech fans are content with a bowl game and beating UGA. A lot of them would trade a UGA win this year for 5 losses. That’s not me, but there’s a lot of them. Key’s also not a NFL, IMO, so not sure where he would go. Tech has some rich alumni so they could find somebody to pay him if he does well enough that him leaving is a concern.

Don't know what TV looked like but in person Duke outplayed GT for three quarters but GT just made big plays when they needed to make them. Big win.
