Coming out of the Texas game with the family…

Arch Manning is not impressive thus far. His completions were wide, wide open. Any degree of traffic or basic separation was wildly inaccurate. If he’d not have had his rushing touchdown, he’d have had another bad game masked by obvious broken plays.

But he really seems to lack touch and feel for the game thus far. There’s zero chance he goes to the NFL this year unless he makes significant strides. He’s not ready yet, at all.

Everyone around him has basically already said he's coming back next year. They all know he needs experience to develop at Texas. He doesn't need the money either.

Fair. I stopped short of saying what I really think. He might pull it together, but so far he hasn’t looked like the guy in waiting/second coming. He looks like the guy who couldn’t beat out Ewers.

That might change, but he has a lot lot of work to do if so. He definitely doesn’t look like the phenom young QBs that have broken onto the scene…yet.

Man its been tough being a Gator fan for a looooonnnggg time now. Spurrier spoiled a lot of us. We tend to forget we never won a SEC championship before he arrived much less competing for a national title.Charlie Pells Gators did have the best pro team in Florida in 1983 or at least a close 2nd to the Dolphins.

Realistically that probably ends Florida’s season. They may have been able to get in the playoff with a 9-3 record with 3 sec losses or one to fsu. But even if 3 losses got them in now hard to see them going 6-2 with that schedule. Horrible loss.
