2025 Detroit Lions: 3-1 Lions roll over Browns (192 Viewers)

This will be a very tough physical game. Both teams coming off tough physical games against first rate teams. Browns have a days extra rest. Lions have more playmakers on offense so hopefully that gets the win. Mason Graham looks like a beast though so Tate and the other 2 new starters on the OL better bring their A game. I think the Browns might have had one of the best draft classes in recent memory. Their trajectory is pointed way up.

WR Jackson Meeks elevated from the practice squad, possibly to be a gunner on special teams. I wouldn't mind seeing him return kicks but as long as they don't put Grant Stuard back there I'm ok with whatever they do.

The Brown's have a really bad offense so the Lions should win handily. The fact that the Browns beat the Packers should take the trap game out of the equation but there could be an emotional letdown after last week's game. I'll take any win, pretty or ugly.

Man, what’s with Jamo? Dropped at least 2 balls and was targeted a few times deep and couldn’t connect. You gotta catch those when you get paid $80M.

Forward down the field,
A charging team that will not yield.
And when the Blue and Silver wave,
Stand and cheer the brave.
Rah, Rah, Rah.
Go hard, win the game.
With honor you will keep your fame.
Down the field and gain,
A Lion victory!

Hey guys, that whole "Baltimore is a good team" thing?

That might need a quick re-visit if everybody is okay with it.
Baltimore is a trainwreck, but it was still a good win on the road if you ask me.

Excellent road win because of the environs and the organization, but heck, Payne, it was your criticism I was responding to last week.

That’s kind of a lol moment as I pause for my morning constitutional.

They lost 3 more defensive starters yesterday and Lamar Jackson.

True that if you’re speaking in generalities about Baltimore qua Baltimore, but if you’re saying that’s why KC won and Detroit faced a full boat, then I woulxx DC remind you Lamar and one other’s happened after Baltimore pooped on themselves Sunday. They were just leaving to clean themselves up, metaphorically speaking.

I can be critical and still believe a Monday night win on the road against Balitmore is a good win.

NFL has it out for Branch. First of all this should have never been a penalty.

On Saturday, September 27, the NFL announced that it’s fining Lions player Brian Branch $11,598 for “unnecessary Roughness” for a “low block.” Looking at footage, even ESPN Football Rules Analyst Russell Yurk said during the broadcast of the game that he thought it was a bad call. It appears that Branch wasn’t even trying to block. He just fell, and the other player tripped over him.

Exactly. I love my family, but I don't like everything they do and sometimes they need to hear it.
