Lions were the best team in the NFL last year. I have no doubt about it. The D just got brutalized with injuries. Eagles don't win if they had the same level of injuries either.
I disagree teams that turns the ball over five times in a playoff game rarely wins and you guys act like there wasn't a handful of of other teams that weren't 15 -2 and 14 and 3 in the league.
We do know the game would have played out different if Hutch, McNeil, Carlton Davis were playing. Doesn’t mean a guarantee the Lions won but the game would have looked different. And of course I don’t know the Lions beat the Eagles either. It’s obviously all my opinion. I mean we don’t now for sure that the 2024 Eagles could have beat the Titans. They didn’t play, maybe the Titans would have had their number. We don’t know. The playoff game plays out very differently if the Lions weren't missing a dozen defensive playersLions were the best team in the NFL last year. I have no doubt about it. You don't know that and you don't know if they beat an Eagles team that was dominant. You just want to believe that.
Yeah, but they didn't play because one team was didn't make the postseason, so there is no scenario where the Titans beat the Eagles, or the Lions or the Commanders or the Chiefs. It is very disingenuous to even use that as an example. Injuries happen and we don't know if that game plays out differently, Buffalo ran up and down on the Lions and at the start of the game they were only missing Hutch, the Lions turned it over five times against the Texans and only won because the Texans had a horrible offense.
