2025 Philadelphia Eagles - Trade! (48 Viewers)

He treats people unevenly, its fair to say.
How so?
I said I'd stop but whatevers, this stuff is kinda easy to look up

Well he seems to not like agents at all for starters

More from some Google AI for your entertainment reading

Jerry Jones, the owner, president, and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, has a well-documented and often contradictory reputation for his interactions with players, coaches, staff, and the public. He is often described as fiercely loyal to those who show loyalty to him, but also as someone who can be overbearing and micromanaging.

Is it possible to treat people evenly when you are known as having a "well documented contradictory reputation"

Maybe? I believe its impossible personally, but this argument will go nowhere splitting hairs about how Jerry treated this guy or that guy.

Sure didn't seem to treat Jimmy Johnson as well as say....Jason Garrett? Or am I crazy for saying something like this lol

Is he treating Parsons poorly in your opinion due to the color or Parsons skin? Yes or no?

:ponder:

Its just sad parsons has to do all this to get paid. He should have been extended a long time ago.
He’s a good player but injury prone and fails to show up when it matters. Dal has handled it wrong but there’s other factors here including Parsons tweeting constantly throwing teammates coaches and management under the bus on both there and his podcast. There’s a concern about his commitment to football. Is he committed to the game or more so gossiping and complaining and acting unprofessional on social media and his podcast. I think Dal has every right to be comcerned. I know if this was the Eagles they would’ve traded him and took the draft picks allowed him to be another teams locker room problem

@Terpman22 didn't introduce race to the topic. @STEADYMOBBIN 22 did.

I do not like, nor understand this trade. I know this kid started 14 games for the Raiders, and I hate PFF stats-they are mostly garbage- but he’s a middling CB at best.

If he makes the team, it’s a bad omen. And if we just needed a camp body, then why trade Booker?!?!?!

Why, Howie, Why?

EDIT: Fran Dufdy on twitter just called him a smaller Kelee Ringo. I officially hate this trade.

I came in to ask Eagles homers this exact question. Thanks for the insight.

Hmm, I take it you guys like Booker...?

Bennett looked like a draft steal during camp and preseason prior to his rookie year (two years ago). He then looked up and down as a rookie and kinda the same last year, though in fairness, he was on some very dysfunctional Raiders teams. He seems to have a decent amount of raw talent, and I think the Eagles will get way more out of him than the Raiders did.

What's your take on Booker? Did the Raiders get anything there to be enthused about? They just lost forehead smoocher Christian Wilkins, so there's a need at DT.

Booker is a solid player. He was supposed to be the back-up NT this year. He played 166 snaps last year and flashed some good things. He’s short, but stays low and has great upper body strength and good hand technique.

Him getting traded says a couple things about the Eagles Interior Dline. They have a lot of confidence in Jordan Davis and will extend him. And Gabe Hall, who’s been showing out in camp, is a lock to make the 53. Drafting Ty Robinson made Booker the odd man out here, I guess.

Also, it says bad things about how the FO feels about the CB competition between Ringo and Adoree Jackson. I wonder what Fangio says about this trade. It’ll be interesting to see if he have approval, or it was a pure Howie move.
