I agree with you and one of the reasons I am fond of Kahn/Weidl because this has been the way since they took over. Obviously got to hit them and jury is out on the OL but it's the right approach.

Absolutely had to address the defensive line. It will be tough to wait for the third round but they made the right pick in the first round

My reaction to the pick being Harmon over Sanders was "Oh thank god!" haha.
Harmon has an interesting story that I didn't realize before last night. I knew that his stats when moving from Mich St to Oregon improved drastically, but most of the analysis didn't really go into why this might have happened. I think it's directly related to his backstory. His mom had a stroke and he's been helping take care of her most of his life, and when he was going to transfer she was like, just do what makes you happy. And he could finally focus on football. He lost weight, gained muscle, was able to focus more on his development, and improved by leaps and bounds.
He's an awesome penetrator that needs to clean up his tackling a bit. The idea of pairing him with Heyward, Benton, Watt, and Highsmith is just awesome. He's got so much potential and hopefully is able to take 1-2 years with Cam to become his heir apparent.
I understand that people wanted QB because Rudolph doesn't seem like the answer, but taking the wrong QB in the 1st would have been a disaster.

Asked yesterday on a radio program: what's more likely, Pro Bowl or bust? For those QBs I'd choose bust. Therefore you don't use a 1st round pick on one of them.
I'm told the #Steelers communicated with Aaron Rodgers at the beginning of the week that they would like to receive an answer from him before the Draft (at least 48 hours), per league source. Steelers know the outcome of that conversation...

Lulz. The whole league just passed on Sanders at least once. Giants did it twice. A pile of scouts graded out Ward as the 4th or 5th best QB in either the '24 or '26 classes. End of season, Dart was a projected late 3rd rounder. "One guy", indeed.
Seems like you're projecting. I don't "know" they'll fail anymore than you "know" that they'll succeed. But youre more than welcome to take a victory lap when Jaxson Dart wins his first playoff game, I guess?
Imma keep feeling like selecting most any of this crop of QBs with a first rounder was basically like setting the pick on fire. Hopefully, that's okay with internet randos.
