300-Pound Security Robot Runs Over Toddler At California Shopping Center (1 Viewer)

Had no idea this kind of thing existed.

The article is light on detail ... I'm curious about what these robots really do and how they do it.

And somehow the kids idiot parent/parents will not be at all at fault & get millions for being doish nozzles. Robot lives matter!

"Representatives also told the NBC station that the shopping center is investigating the incident and will dock all of its security robots until further notice."

THE ROBOTS GET PAID?

Seems that Huffpo can be tongue in cheek every now and then

"ABC 7 reporter Lilian Kim tweeted a photo of Harwin’s injury next to the accused robot:"

And let's calm down with the "horrific" accident stuff. He got a scrape.

wait till all the oil-sucking lawyers get involved..

I'm gonna say that the parents work for a competing robotics company and are trying to frame this robot by tossing their child in it's path in an attempt to secure the contract for themselves.

Just wait 'til ED-209 shows up at the mall.

Why is a 16 month old in any position to get run over by this?

I just hate how everyone is a victim, my heart goes out to the poor child but I blame mommy and daddy. You ever notice how this never happens to some parents but often happens repeatedly for others? Why is that?

Ever notice how sometimes sheet happens even to the best intentioned of folks?

Howard Marner: What if it goes out and melts down a bus load of nuns? How would you like to write the headline on that one?

Benjamin Jabituya: Nun soup?
