"3d tier" RBs being taken mid/last 1st: a quick stats look (1 Viewer)

ie after the top 3 and most have Portis and Barber after that, so....

I picked 90 over 100 as there seem to be too many instances of not cracking 100 total for these guys and tweaking to 90 gave more of a notable or telling variance; Brown was even dicier to due sharing the load so I took out some games with lesser carries...anyway FWIW and anyone who has a similar comparison using slightly diff numbers, fire away; I'm still going back n forth on this group (although for me the first 3 are definitely ahead of the other 2).

Name - more than 90 combined yds - scored

Jordan - 10/14 - 7/14

Jackson - 11/15 - 7/15

Rudi J - 14/16 - 8/16

Brown - 4/9 - 3/9

C Wms - 7/14 - 5/14

I think Rudi scored in 8 games not 7. Either way :goodposting:

It's down to these two for me, and I've been looking at stats from last year also.I noticed that Rudi and SJackson both scored > 15 points in 7 games in my league.

One Question: Rudi went on a nice string of 5 consecutive 20+ point games in weeks 11-15. Does anyone attribute that to anything other than the Bengals getting into a groove?

Good catch, thxObviously there are a ton of factors to think about here, just thought it was worth a glance - I didn't realize how inconsistent C Willliams game/game till I looked it up. I know he was dinged and all but sheesh

Good analysis. I'm drafting 8th, so this is essentially my group I'm looking at.

How come you do not include Edge in this grouping?

He was hurt in 4 of those 14 games, to a degree where no one in their right mind started him (other than the 1st)...so the only games I would be concerned with are the 10 (without the initial injury game) or 11 (with).Guess if you are looking at total picture though, those games count.

Didn't include EJ because of his team change esp given that he came from from the most high-powered O around the last few years. Just wouldn't be a meaningful inclusion IMO. Not that AZ is dog doo, but Warner isn't exactly an ironman and who knows wtf would happen then.
