49ers at Vikings (1 Viewer)

After further review, my internal referees are unsure of how many beers I've had so I'm just going to go ahead and pour myself some bourbon.

And Toby fumbles again.

It's all about consistency.

AP has way too many touches today
Based on what? ESPN said last week against Indy they wanted him to get 20-25 touches. I would say based on that he did what they wanted today.Gerhart shouldn't be in the game.
Catastrophic knee injury at the end of last year????Best offensive player on the team, if not the league????

Maybe you shoudn't risk his healthy recovery for a win in week 3????

Maybe you haven't seen him play yet...he is a freak of nature and looks pretty fully healthy. Jump cuts, power...only thing he may still be missing is his breakaway speed once he gets through the line.

I've watched every play this year, so yes, I've seen him play. But I'd rather see the Vikes lower his touches a bit and not risk his full recovery, especially this early in the year. He may be a freak, but he's still playing on a bad knee.

I think it's more that he hasn't been able to get to out in the open field yet. I'm pretty sure straight line speed usually comes back before cutting ability following a knee injury. The speed is there he just hasn't gotten many opportunities to show it off. He looked near 100% today.

Despite the embarrassing display by the ref's, Frazier needs to be held accountable there. Gerhart fumbles once and you run him back out there. Fine. But after two fumbles?

Great game by Ponder and the Vikings.

Ball came out after the whistle too. Complete failure by this ref crew.
:goodposting: forget for half a second that the challenge shouldn't have been granted since they used their 3rd timeout. The whistle blew and then the ball came lose.Give credit to Harbaugh for taking advantage of inept refs and getting 5 timeouts  Luckily for the NFL the Vikings won...

Ref acknowledged mistake in allowing both challenges after the game. I get that the replacement refs are not up to speed on all the nuances of NFL rules, but I am surprised the NFL does not have someone there in the booth to assist in these type of rules interpretations

The annoucers said that even though the Refs are replacements, the replay officials are not. If they don't have veto power than that needs to change. If they do have the power than whomever was working the booth should be shown the door :bye:

Refs call a illegal block in the back on San Fran on the opening kick off. Harbough starts to loose it on the sideline. Refs pick up the flag.
I still want to know what happened on this play. Does anyone know?
