49ers RB Gore to be listed as questionable

49ers HC Mike Nolan said on Monday that RB Frank Gore would be listed as questionable this week with an abdominal strain.

FWIW, small sample size but only 4 of the 12 fantasy starters listed as Questionable by San Francisco last year ended up playing, one of the poorest play rates of any team. However, most of those 8 non-plays were by Alex Smith and Arnez Battle and Gore did play in week 13 when he was Questionable with a Hip.

When the San Francisco 49er's travel to Kansas City on Sunday, RB Frank Gore may not be in the lineup. He suffered an abdominal strain vs. Philadelphia and is questionable for this week's game against the Chiefs.

One good thing about this is that it's a Sunday early game since the game in in KC. So you will probably have time to either start him or bench him if it's a GTD. Getting married the day before but you can betch your butt that I will make sure to find out if he is starting or not and call in any changes....

 Get your priorities in order. I'm sure your future spouse would really appreciate it that you are more worried about Frank Gore's injury than putting your full concentration on the wedding. I can see it now. You standing at the altar saying your vows and in the back of your mind, you see Frank Gore. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that you made sure your wedding was on Saturday rather than Sunday due to football.

There are things that are more important that this hobby. Get a grip!

I think it's time you get back to the Lambda Lambda Lambda house.

Im really surprised nobody posted this from Rotoworld:

Scout.com reports that Frank Gore has a "good chance" to be ready for Week 4.

It's possible Gore could lose some goal-line work, but we'll believe it when we see it. If Gore can be close to 100% for next week, perhaps the minor injury did him a favor. He already had 22 touches on the day and is up to 75 on the season and doesn't want to get ahead of that pace.

Actually I did, in the "other" Gore / Robinson thread, but yes, I agree it is surprising that someone didn't post that here earlier.

Sounds like he does have his priorities in order......Minister:

"Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband,

through sickness and in health, through all the fantasy football

losing streaks, through the hours upon hours of quality time

which could be spent with your husband,

instead, wasted on analyzing various FF trades ? "

Future ex-wife:

"I do".

Minister:

"Do you take this woman to be your wife ?

The Fanatic:

"Possibly, but first please allow me to make

a quick phone call, I may need to pull Gore from my lineup".

Minister:

"Sure no problem, I already yanked him from my lineup before the ceremony"
