5 ROUND MOCK DRAFT W/ COMP PICKS (1 Viewer)

In run support, McFadden struggles a little more than in pass coverage. He doesn't support the run aggressively and doesn't show the strength to take on blockers and shed. McFadden is excellent in run support
What kind of analysis is this? Is this from NFL.com? Make up your minds, guys !!! :)

Let the VOTE begin for SF's 3rd rounder.

QB and DE have been filled.

Left as major needs: RB and CB

I vote for Eric Green VT CB

They really need OL Depth Wesley Britt, Chris Colmer, Evan Mathis, Munoz, Their OL was Horrible last year. The only thing they did this year was to bring in Jennings. My vote is for Britt

Ok

I'll go along with this pick

3rd!

That's all we need Chris Colmer is the SF 3/01 pick

Arrowhead Nation is up with pmcade on deck

I'll PM both right now!

With the 2nd pick in the 3rd round, the St. Louis Rams select

Vincent Jackson, WR Northern Colorado

I know, you all are thinking "what the he-- are they doing". We plan to try and trade Brandon Manamaleuna, and his replacement @ TE will be Jacson.

He is 6'5, 241 LBs

Had the best wonderlic score (33) of any WR in the draft.

Did I mention he is 6'5?

We plan to hhave him bulk up about 10 LBs in muscle and give us a major recieving threat @ TE. We dont plan to use him @ WR, as we will use Faulk as a slot WR, and we still have Curtis and McDOnald for the 4/5 spots.

Another weapon in Bulger's arsenal. Jackson, Holt, Bruce, Faulk, Curtis and Jackson.....nice set of playmakers.

My own stroy: Saw the guy when he beat my Alma Mater, Central Missouri State, in the 2002 D-II Playoffs in Greeley, Colo. I was pissed at him that day as he torched our secondary, but seeing him in person, theres no way a 5'11 DB covers him.

Browns take:Jeremy Parquet OT Southern Miss.Excellent size and a massive frame...Good athleticism and nimble feet...Has long arms which aid him as a pass blocker...Powerful and does a solid job as a run blocker...Smart player who graduated in 3 1/2 years...A team leader and captain. Prospect who has a rare blend of size and athleticism...Has a lot of potential as well as the drive to succeed and improve...May have the potential to play left tackle in the NFL.Second Choice:Marcus Johnson, OG-OT, Ole Miss Has great size...Good speed and quickness...Shows good technique and knows how to use his hands...Once he locks on the battle is over...Has long arms which really aid him in pass protection...Has a nasty demeanor on the field...Experienced and a very smart player.

No thanks on T. Murphy.TEN takes Reggie Brown WR.The Titans need a WR that can start soon and Reggie Brown is one of the most NFL ready of those out there IMO.

I'd have done the same, Reggie is a steal here.

Fourth...

Whoever that guy is should be a perfect fit...
Strengths: Has been an outstanding player and extremely productive since his true freshman season...Has excellent speed...Very smart and has great instincts...Makes plays sideline-to-sideline all over the field...Is a playmaker. Weaknesses: Didn't play against a top level of competition...Lacks the ideal size you look for...Struggles to fight through traffic...Doesn't look real natural in coverage.

Notes: Won the 2004 Buck Buchanan Award given to the nation's defensive player of the year in Division I-AA...May have to move outside at the pro level

Ranked any around 10 best over all at LB.

Tampa's time's up.I nominate Ben Wilkerson.I will be leaving shortly, and have the next selection. If Tampa doesn't pick soon, I will.

The G-Men need OL so my nomination goes to Wesley Britt OT Alabama

Houston Texans select Michael Boley LB soutern MississppiStarted to be ugle and take the giant's guy, but I would have been doing it for the sake of doing it. Boley will translate into a covered ILB in the Texans system very similiar to Morlon Greenwood. He is a fast playmaking LB who does not take on blocks well, but has good tackling skills and has a history of causing fumbles.

Let's vote on NYG.......

CB, S, DL, RB, OL (taken in 2nd)

Eric Green CB VT

Atiyyah Ellison DT MIZZ

Eric Shelton RB LOU

Andre Maddox S STAN (reach)
vote Eric Green, probably BPA for their needs here. But, I like then going RB in 3rd/4th also. Not splitting my vote, but wouldn't suprise me if Shelton is their pick here, good complement to Tiki.

I vote Shelton, you can always use a solid RB in the 3rd round.

Sorry about the Tampa Bay pick. I had been checking-in every so often to see if I was up, but got caught way from the computer. Anyway, Wilkerson would be OK, but I like Ray Willis, T, Florida State better.

Pro Football Weekly has Willis rated as their 9th-best OL & 5th-best T behind only Khalif Barnes, Alex Barron, Jamaal Brown, & G/T Marcus Johnson (who they have ranked as a T). They have Willis ahead of Adam Terry, Chris Colmer, & Jeremy Parquet (all three went ahead of Willis in this mock).

Willis' best position is probably RT, but he's athletic enough to play on the left side. He's also much more polished than teammate Alex Barron, but doesn't have Barron's upside. However, Willis, at 6'5 5/8" 327, has all the tools & PFW says he "should play 10 years in the league at a high level. Solid second-round value."

If I'm not able to switch my pick to Willis, then Wilkerson is fine. He's a nice player, but just thought I'd mention who I would've taken. :)

I probably wont be in when the Panthers are up #76 so I have pm'd the pick to ATW22 and he will pick for the Panthers.
Yes what are there needs I can look it up in about 30 Min.
They need QB (Walter) (Green) RB(Shelton) (Houston) (Moats)
I will 2nd Walter.
3rd Walter
Arizona gets Walter the hometown boy as QB of the futureWebraider PM/d me his pick

#76 Carolina Panthers select: WR Fred Gibson UGA

He is a WR with some size and has great speed as well. Will be a good guy to mix in with Smith and Colbert in the Panthers receiving core.

Philly is up

If nobody is looking to trade up, I'll have a pick shortly.PM me with offers if you are interested.

PHI has a few directions I could go here with a couple of prospects worthy of the pick, however I am going RB.PHI needs a complement to Westbrook who can also carry the mail if/when he gets hurt. Although his pass game (blocking/catching) needs some work to fit in perfectly, his tough inside running and good speed make this a very good pick.

PHI Selects Eric Shelton, RB Louisville

I'll trade you my third and fifth rounders for Shelton. I was about to PM you to see if you wanted to trade the pick and you posted a minute before I could do so.
