6 yr. old alone in runaway experimental balloon (1 Viewer)

Cooper: "The chatters say overwhelmingly that this is a hoax."

Foreman: "REALLY?!?! That surprises me."

The media isn't helping matters much. They're playing it off as a "mystery". Is in not professional to inject some sanity into things? "Well there's no hatch visible""The balloon doesn't look large enough to carry a child away"The news needs a story. They'll milk the kid who flew away for a while then they'll turn to the attention starved family with an egomaniac father from Fort Collins who committed the hoax of the decade.

Some of us saw this for what it was. Can't please all the Manbacks of the world who want to believe.

why would they even agree to put the kid on live tv like that? kid is 6...you knew he couldn't hold up to a grilling from the wolf.

considering they were arrogant or dumb enough to try and pull this off it comes as no surprise they put the kids on TV instead of saying.."the kids are took shook up by all of this to appear tonight". That family was really

They just broke into the local sheriff's news conference to tell him that the boy was found at the house!Terrific news!ETA:Now ground all of the kids for 10 years. And fire the parents.
I know hind site is 20/20 and I saw the coverage after the boy was found. I just find it shocking that anyone would think there was a kid in that balloon. :thumbup:Even funnier is this thread going from somber to a bunch of amateur physics teachers in a few posts.

Some of us get paid to do this. :lmao:

I've seen better grilling at McDonald's.
he was able to coax a confession out of the kid with minimal effort. Wolfman is clearly a very skilled interrogator. He actually let the dad hang himself. Good shtick.

First they name him "Falcon", then they have him lie and it gets exposed on national TV.

Poor kid's gonna need therapy.

Well, I get that they figured the 6 year old was the only one plausibly small enough to be lifted by this mylar balloon (actually not, but regardless), so they had him hide and claimed he was carried off. The problem is that Falcon wasn't ready for prime time. He fumbled. They should have gone with Bradford. He was the only one not writhing around awaiting his next ritalin dose.

YOU ALWAYS START YOUR STUDS.
