I know some people get ticked off when others don't remove their hats during the national anthem, but I've never heard of this.

Some people think it's disrespectful to smile during the national anthem? Seriously?

Because I can't remember the last time I wasn't smiling when I was standing for the national anthem. I'm a happy guy.

Soon it's going to be hard to blame kids growing up in this junk

International papers are all but calling us stupid Americans (which isn't so uncommon, I know) because Christina doesn't know the words to the national anthem and because "our star player" Matthews isn't respectful. The Supe was a worldwide stage. Can you imagine being an American visiting one of these countries and having to try and defend their behavior and/or "blow it off"?
Link?

I hate the Packers and I didn't see anything disrespectful. Can we all just quit looking for reasons to be angry at each other for like ten minutes. If you want to complain, complain about how ugly the Packer colors are.

I cant see how anyone would think anything of that move. the anthem being butchered by yet another singer trying to be "cool" is far more disrespectful IMO.

everyone is thankful for the service of our vets, but service does not give the vets ownership of the national anthem. or the flag for that matter.

to look at that as anything more than a semi-nervous reaction to knowing he was on the big screen is ludicrous. People need to stop looking for #### to complain about. There are plenty of things to be pissed off about that you shouldn't have to drum any up.

:goodposting: :goodposting: If he wants to be pissed at someone, be pissed at that hack that can't remember the words to the most patriotic song in our nation. This is just an overreaction, IMO.
