I started McGahee and White. So I'm feeling okay as long as I think of it as a solid game from the both of them.

Thank God I wasn't on the recieving end, but the guy in our league who is in first place is facing the owner in our league who is in last place. The last place owner started Flacco, White and Boldin. Man, this is the one thing I hate about thursday night NFL football. It seems like there are ALWAYS huge games by a couple of players on Thursdays and it seems like there are ALWAYS duds too. So, its agonizing if you have to wait two days while staring at a 40-7 score or soemthing (like if you have Turner and you played White and Flacco last night).Thank God I wasn't on the recieving end, but the guy in our league who is in first place is facing the owner in our league who is in last place. playing Boldin, Rice and Heap of all people. Unbelievable. But it could be worse. I could be playing against White.
played against White/Boldin. I had Rice going. I am now down by 42 points. It seems I get the top scoring team each and every week and I just have to try to out score them. I am 1st place in scoring in my league but 8th place in the standings................

RBs are McGahee and Jacobs, other wr is Owen Daniels (start TE not required - the owner just picked up bad wrs)IDPs are horrible (which typically accounts for about 40% of the weekly score for most teams).Jeebus. So annoying to watch Flacco struggle for 2+ quarters and then explode late against me in my main league. Also going against Ryan in another league. Coulda started Ryan in a 3rd league but rolling with Big Ben.

Sat Matt Ryan in favor of Fitpatrick due to recent performance, match up and not sure how healthy Roddy was. FML pretty sure Fitzy not putting up 300+ and 3 TDs

Had Ray Rice going against Joe Flacco. It's maddening when Rice does all the dirty work between the 20's, and then in comes that stupid #23 jersey who's not even really that great down at the goal line (save all your stats geeks, I don't want to see them, he just isn't), McGahee does squat, so you know Flacco is going to throw it into the endzone.
Now I need a huge game from Matt Schaub, who's about to deliver the ultimate "I don't get it, matchup looked great on paper, how did only get 165 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT?" game.

Listen up ye who just joined 2 months ago. If FF were all luck or even mostly luck, some of us here wouldn't have multiple championships and too many playoff appearances to count. Let me put it this way: I am in a dynasty league with two other guys that are regulars here on FBG. Between the 3 of us, the title has been won 4 out of 6 times. Those 2 years one of us didn't win it, one of the three FBGs was in the championship game and lost. Head to head single week has some luck. Making it to the playoffs to give yourself a chance to win it all = mostly skill.FF has more skill than those who lose want to admit, and probably a little more luck that those who are good want to. But to dismiss it as luck...child, please.

Meh....I am facing the Ryan owner this week. Only good thing is he also started the Ravens DST (got him only 3 pts in our scoring), so those Ryan TDs cost him 9 fantasy pts for DST points allowed. Too bad I suck @ picking kickers--I dropped Mason Crosby (BYE) & picked up Billy Cundiff...ugh

More PO-ed about playing Against Ryan when I got TGonzo, 3 TDs later , a big fat egg in TDs for Gonzo WTF??!? Ryan you will lose with that one show pony strategy! Just wait til you play few shutout corner teams, you will be crying IF you even make it to the play offs. Ref won't win games for you every week.

Ahhh...ATL has one of the best records and White is the best WR in the game. That one trick pony has become a stallion in 2010.
