Earlier this week, the Packers reportedly feared that Aaron Rodgers could be out for the year with his sprained shoulder.That has obviously been averted, but it shows how serious the injury is. I hate to say it, but I almost wish he wasn't. At least then the decision would be simpler. If you have another decent option, I would think you'd already be planning on using it (I'm starting Warner over him in 1 league). Another league though, it's Rodgers or Garrard.

Do you go with a dinged up Rodgers & hope he not only lasts the whole game, but is also able to be effective, or do you go with the safer play (but lesser FF talent w/tough matchup)? I'm not actually asking for advice, just thinking out loud...

How effective should we expect him to be? Starting or not, I'm still very nervous about using him.

Analysis: QB Aaron Rodgers is active and will start against Atlanta. He’s a bit of a risk due to his shoulder, but Rodgers will still be active in countless fantasy leagues. CB Charles Woodson is also active, which is bad news for Falcons WR Roddy White. WR James Jones is active as well.

sorry if you took it that way...it was an attempt at humor...obviously there is no link to be had on a tv show. and given the number of people reporting the news I figured there was room for a little humor with a twinge of sarcasm here..... there are plenty of LEGITIMATE tools running around here to worry about me ....carry on
