Actually saw a 40 something guy wearing his baseball cap backwards tonight..my daughter said "does he thinks he looks cool?"

College basketball broadcasts where every 8th possession or so they have to show you the game from some odd angle. Just show the action in the normal shot, Scorsese.

 
The cameraman running alongside the guy who just hit a home run from third all the way home, especially if the homer just made it 8-1 instead of 8-0. I can understand if it's a walk-off, but every time?People preparing for a zombie apocalypse. Seriously, there are several reasons why that's not going to happen.

 
Those ASPCA commercials with Sarah McLaughlin. It's as though the remote suddenly stops working just long enough for you to get a shot of a sad-eyed puppy, thus ruining whatever good day you were having beforehand.

Now, every one in them is < 50, over 400ls, with an open bag of fronions and a case of diet coke, alternating between panting and shouting on the their cell phones while ramming into people. Do these people know they are the basis of the super fat soda slurpers in Wall-e?These things should only be allowed during a " cart shopping hour" from say noon- 1:00 pm when all these jerks just drive around and smash into each other in an indoor Darwin awards death race 2000. The rest of humanity either stays out of the store, or gets charged a small fee to watch the carnage.

Commercials where people bring fast food to some type of gathering, and are subsequently treated as the "life" of said gathering. If you're having a party, and fast food really turns up the fun, you're doing it wrong.McDonald's advertising, particularly on the radio. Their commercials actively make me want to avoid their restaurants, and their burgers don't even make my top 5 burger list.People calling themselves "hipsters." if you're calling yourself one, you're missing the point.

"Can I get you started off with some appetizers?" ...then bringing said appetizer to our table along with the entree.

It's happened so often that Mrs. TR & I usually specify that we want the appetizer (or salad) brought out before the main meal.

This is a pretty good line to draw in the sand for good/bad service.

I eat out 5-6 times per month and have never had the appetizer come out with dinner.A few salads as some places just do it that way these days, but never an app.

Why would you go back to such a place?

Because it seems to happen at random. Moreso at chain restaurants than locals (which we usually prefer anyway).

Saw the worst "In Memory of" graphic in the history of man. It took up the entire rear windshield and in the middle was a photo of the deceased infant. Or so I thought. The birth year was 1985, they just decided to go with a baby photo. Not sure why because that was an ugly ### baby.

When I lived in MD, those decals were very common. I know a lot of people see them as a touching tribute, but I don't know, I would never drive around with that on my car for the world to see. I always wondered if the goal was to elicit sympathy from strangers in parking lots and such, and it strikes me as no better than having coffee mugs, key chains and frisbees made up. If you want to make a tribute, there are classier ways to do it, and if you want to share your grief with people, to me, that belongs in the realm of friends, family, coworkers, support groups, etc. I may be in the minority here and that's cool.

I think of death when I see them. Like a tombstone. I wouldn't want my loved one's seeing that everyday and thinking of my death constantly.
