For me, not quite as much, but damn near every big movie during the summer I've seen - Dark Knight, Avengers, etc.. the crowd claps at the end of the movie.

Speaking of movie etiquette - put your ####### phone away. A big reason I don't go as much as I used is b/c I have to see 50 lights from all the phones in the crowd. Having the volume off or not talking on it doesn't make it any less distracting and annoying.
