I should probably start a driving-only thread:

- people inexplicably slowing down as they merge into highway traffic

- slackjawed gawking at accidents, especially on the other side of the highway

- cars matching pace in two lanes

- semis cruising in the left lane

- slow cars and honorary citizen defenders of the law cruising in the left lane

- pretty much anyone being in the left lane

- routine use of high beams guy

- people throwing #### out their window

- texting and driving
Still don't get your deal with high beams.

Creepiest thing on the road. I feel like a staring contest is in order when this happens. Annoying, too.

People starting vote begging threads. Like "Vote for my friend in this riduculous online contest".

I make it a point to always vote for a competitor of the OP's friend/sister/mom/kid.

Wearing a skull cap when it's not cold. Just stupid as wearing scarves as accessories. ####### hipsters.
Much more than hipsters do this, at least in SoCal. If it drops below 70, then it's a perfect excuse to wrap up with your favorite fashion accessory to fight off the bitter chill.

Driving 5 mph under the speed limit on the freeway because there's a cop nearby.
My buddy's a cop and he said it drives him ####ing insane. He can never make good time getting anywhere because the car in front of him is always going under the speed limit.
I always pass cops on the freeway. I think they respect the moxie.
I just assume they have a momentary attack of following the laws when I pass them. Eventually I'll get a ticket and I'll get to vent on a cop.

I think it's cheating and immoral for people outside of the target group to flood the voting.

What bothers me more are pedestrians staring at me for more than 10 seconds while I drive through a neighborhood or parking lot at 5mph, turning their heads 180 degrees if necessary. Feel like an animal in a cage. WTF... STARE MUCH?!

When did people stop pulling into the intersection when waiting to turn left? Lately I'm going nuts with people sitting at the line in the turn lane. Absolutely kills me.

I hate it when I get the green arrow to turn left and have to wait on the d-nozzle planted in the middle of the intersection who was waiting on the last oncoming car to pass under the red light.

He actually has the right of way. If you enter the intersection while the light is green and then the light turns red, right of way is to anyone who needs to clear the intersection.

Not in Texas.

Pretty sure every state says it's their right to clear the intersection. As long as you've entered the intersection during a green. The only time this would not be correct is if you can't clear the intersection. So if you enter an intersection while it's green and traffic holds you up, then the light turns red and you are blocking the intersection, then you are in violation.

But if you enter the intersection while green, and the light turns red, you have the right to clear the intersection. Even red light traffic cameras are set up to not ticket someone for clearing the intersection.

Man, I was taught not to pull out into the intersection. Dont know what the law is actually.

Reasoning was if an emergency vehicle needs to get thru the intersection (From your left to your right), that you would be blocking.

No, this is incorrect.

It's never legal to block an intersection.

Define "block".

I hate when those oncoming cars don't have enough sense to stop on the yellow to give that left-turning car a chance to get out of the intersection before the light turns red.

I didn't say it was. But I'm glad we agree on something.

Talking on your cellphone for 2 hours straight riding in an airport shuttle.
2 hour airport shuttle? Yikes.

I live 2 hours from the nearest major airport. I can either take our rinky dink airport to the major airport or take a shuttle for $60. That particular day I wish I had driven to the airport.

Sacramento doesn't have an airport?

It's way out in the sticks. The landing is nice though, like landing in a massive open field.
