Adrian Peterson (1 Viewer)

from his wikipedia page:

Adrian Louis Peterson (born March 21, 1985 in Palestine, Texas) is a football running back, who played for the University of Oklahoma, and is expected to be a Top 5 draft pick in the upcoming 2007 NFL Draft. Nicknamed "AD" ("All Day") by his father for his consistency and work ethic.

Finally! somebody else pissed off at fantasy morons using initials of nicknames and expecting the rest of us to all follow like cake sheep!

This is the correct  He has been referred to as AD by media, friends, coaches, teammates and fans since his junior year in high school. In Norman you are considered the doofus if you call him AP. :D All Day.

this is the best thread I've read in weeks. Well done to everyone.

My fav moments thus far:

"Mr. Deterson isn't going to like this"

"AP plays for the Bears"

"Plural for doofus is doofi, maroon."

"I was wondering why Andre Dyson was getting so much hype these days."

I know Joe hates the shtick that breaks out in the shark pool but this is gold.

primetime's scorecard is as follows...All scores are rated on a 10 point scale (10 being highest) and a bonus point is given to Miss Congeniality.Recognizing sarcasm score = 1Trying to use the "I know AD is AP" argument to prove your smart score = 1Using the bad LT argument since those are initials of their actual names score = -5Not even acknowledging B.A. Baracus score = -152

Mr.T...did my score improve?

and sarcasm?...come on dude

wasn't trying to say I am smart for knowing AD is Peterson I was saying it should be common sense...

useing LT as an example of why it is common sesne...the fact that LT is his real name was not the piont...you missed the piont there...

also...shouldn't it go like this you MORON...

Trying to use the "I know AD is AP" argument to prove your smart score = 10+

Using the bad LT argument since those are initials of their actual names score = 10+

This isn't Norman, Toto,
No Dorothy, it's an NFL fantasy football board with limited knowledge of NCAA players. :lmao:

Who is AD? I thought this was about A. Peterson? If AP goes to DET he will get crushed on the carpet as his speed will not be the advantage to him as it was at ou. Conversely, if OAK gets him then I think he could be a monster.

Only if all the "morons" will quit ending all their posts with "just saying", or "just sayin'"
Clearly, to be hip, we should use... jus' sayin'But JohnnyU, you are hipless so you can't relate. ;)
Yep, I'm just a hipless (literally) fuddy duddy :fishing: Well, actually I have a bionic hip now, so just call me Steve Austin. Crap, something else from the 70s.

I thought there was a rule about not pissing in the shark pool. :porked:
The rule is you can piss, but if you shake it more than twice, then your playing with it.
Do I need therapy if I shake a few hundred times?
No, at your age you gotta shake it that many times to be sure it's still there!
I don't think Dr Martin Luther King would want us to fight over AD/Ps initials.
Nope MLK had A Dream

I kinda like ADP. Fits both. Or you can always just call him Mr. Peterson.

Edit: I forgot. Pretty soon you'll also be able to call him ROY.

Please refrain from using the word "hipless"Sincerely,Rod Smith And :bag: I was wondering about AD's true identity myself. Probably don't watch enough college ball.

:lmao: Me like.

I though AD was for "Atention Deficit" :kicksrock:

Signed: So glad I visited this post and finally know why people were using AD for a guy whose initials are clearly AP! :excited:

How about everyone learn to type? These nicknames are out of control. In the Asst. Coach forum I just saw DeLo (Deangelo Williams). I wanted to vomit. I also want to puke when I see "Westy".
