I have no idea what a "Hemi" is, but I have determined I hate it more than any other automotive thing, ever. :thumbdown:

Hemis RAWK - they make those big engines move faster- powerful. They are great. But, I'm with you - if I hear another truck Co. brag about their "hemi" I'm going to throw my TV out the window.I'll state it again - if the Colts can't stop the Pats' offense (and now a punt should give the Colts' D a decent starting point) Manning and the Colts offense is 100% irrelevant.
 
he could,,, I just got this out of the first 10 team draft I came upon in the mock draft forum..2.01 Edgerin James, RB, INDY All depends on who your drafting with.. In my league,, I wouldn't be surprised if he was there at 1.10-1.12

Complete agreement - someone near the #9 spot is going to start thinking Moss, meaning Edge oculd easily fall to the end of the 1st round. Not likely, but it could happen since I see at least 7 RBs likely to be drafted ahead of Edge.

Indy's defense is terrible. they have not been trying to disrupt the WR's at all!! Looks like a 5yd cushon on every play.

you might even be able to add S.Davis to that list, or R.Johnson. unless indi finds some D in the offseason, they are going to be down and having to pass, as opposed to up and wanting to run next season.
 
Now is where the ball game really turns - 21-7 with a little over a quarter left means Peyton time if he gets a TD quickly. They haven't really taken too many shots downfield - look for a lot more Edge and Rhodes running and in the short game and then a play action fake and a shot downfield.

Off topic, but those Coors light ads are pretty silly."The difference in carbs between Miller Lite and Coors light is only 1.8 grams. You can burn off 1.8 grams..."Yeah, I'm sure all Miller/Coors drinkers have only one beer.Still only a two touchdown game, but I'm not sure why Peyton didn't just dump that one off.

 
The Indi D has sucked horribly, but somehow have held NE to 4 chip-shot field goals. The are definitely still in it, but need to get Harrison involved and will, at some point need the D to stop NE or force a turnover.

Or marshal faulk, Dom, and Henry. Maybe even Barlow.. It never surprises me who people draft.. I don't think I've ever been involved in a draft where a QB or WR was taken in the first 12 pics.. I don't do it,, but it always seems to happen.

Edge had 51 catches this year (3rd on the team). He is one of those backs that will not be 'taken out of the game' if their team is down. They use him when they pass as well.1.09-1.10 seems like the spot IMHO of where Edge will be drafted, not 1.12.

Wouldn't you be chasing a pretty full cart that left the station a while ago?On Edge bottom of the first - agree onm amuch of what's said - there are at least 10 backs who could REASONABLY be selected before Edge and another 3 or 4 names that someone might take a shot on.On the game - The Colts should be throwing every single play when they get the ball back. Especially, if as it appears, the Pats go in for another TD.
 
Pats got to be one of the luckiest teams i've ever seen.... Maybe the only way for them to lose is if I do jump on the ban wagon..

 
The only hope for Indy has to be that they've already come back against a tough defense late in a game once this season.

 
On the replay, that pass looked even worse. :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown: to Peyton for giving the back that "where the F were you?" shrug/stare.

My thoughts exactly! Manning's a great QB, but he has a bad habit of directing his frustration toward his teammates and coaches. Those INTs today have been all his fault -- bad reads and overthrown passes.
 
Tom Brady needs to step it up. He is up against the #20 defense. He should be having a huge game, not throwing INTs in the end zone when you are trying to put the other team away. If the Colts come back, its Brady's fault.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it would be his fault, but Brady HAS thrown a lot of poor passes today, and against a better D, he might be looking at a 3 INT game right now.
