When he is scrambling around and changing directions and then drops at the last second, I don’t know how the defensive player avoids touching the helmet (other than just choosing not to defend). The slide rule needs to be reevaluated in the offseason.

With the expedited review process now being used, the NFL has to make these roughing calls on QBs reviewable. Take the 8 seconds and maybe not cost a team a playoff game. I’m all for protecting the quarterback. Nothing sucks more than watching backups, but this is an easy, no-brainer fix this offseason.
