***AFCC - Buffalo 15-4 at Kansas City 16-2*** (-2, 47.5) 6:30 (2 Viewers)

I feel awful for Allen and Buffalo. Knew this was about a coin flip, and it was home field that seemed to do it.
Not really

Field goal difference? You're telling me Bills aren't kicking for the win if that game is in Buffalo? They already beat KC in Buffalo this year. What makes you think home field isn't worth about that margin?
It wasn’t home field at all. It was coaching — Reid and Spags outcoached moron McDermott and dipstick Joe Brady

KC went up there and beat them in the playoffs just last season after beating the Ravens the week before in their house as well

Eagles revenge game. That was the only hope there was of anyone but Eagles fans rooting for them. Now, half the xountry will hold their nose and cheer Jalen Carter and Jalen Hurts!
Wait, I get Carter, but why do people dislike Hurts?
He’s not good. He’s an overmatched game manager running back playing QB
Even if that were true, and its silly, that still seems like a weird reason to root against a guy. By all accounts Hurts is one of the best people in the league.

KC -1.5 (48.5)
Assuming Dickerson and Jurgens are good to go, I'll gladly take Philly getting points. I would have figured Philly -2, but I guess the 3-peat narrative will drive betting. Philly is better pretty much across the board other than QB and K.
I like the Eagles talent more, but Reid/Spags with two weeks to plan is a big advantage. They had a plan for Allen and I think they’ll draw up some schemes to limit Saquon and force Hurts to win it with his arm, a far more uncertain proposition.

Think it’s a FG game.

If Mahomes has the ball last with a chance to win, it’s hard to bet against him.

I think that’s right. The QB sneak / Tush push calls killed the Bills. They could have played it straight with running plays to convert those short ones with Cook. Plus Allen took a beating.

Flip side of that is the Chiefs haven't played a defense anywhere near as good as the Eagles, because there isn't one. The drop off from the Eagles D, to #2 (KC in my opinion) is bigger than the drop off from KC to league average.

Congrats Chiefs fans. I don’t know who can stop them. If you couldn’t beat them the last two years, I don’t see it happening.

You’re probably right, but having having Mahomes is what separates KC from all other teams in the NFL. Chiefs 3 Peat coming soon.

Stafford and Daniels had good games versus the Eagle defense. Turnovers hurt both teams.
I don't understand that argument. The Eagles defense (and special teams) created those turnovers.

If Andy Reid can stay alive 4 more years he will be the winningest coach ever. Guy is impressive.

ETA ... in 26 seasons he has had 21 winning seasons, 1 even season, and 4 losings seasons. In his 12 seasons with KC, he has never had a losing season and is averaging over 12 wins per year. And might soon have his 4th super bowl.

Bills D need to change their approach vs Mahomes

0-4 in the playoffs is telling

It’s so incredibly frustrating to keep losing to them. Especially in close games. But let’s be real, it’s not like a whole lot of other teams are beating KC in the playoffs either. If anyone can identify a coach that has figured out how to stop Mahomes when it truly matters, I’m all for Buffalo hiring him.

What’s crazy is that every freaking time Buffalo ends up missing crucial defensive pieces against KC. Buffalo’s secondary was thin, but good enough. Not having Rapp and then losing Benford early (and him clearly not being 100%) was devastating.

I get it and don't mean to be too critical towards their staff. Just keep seeing their passive approach vs Mahomes. That approach only works if the 4 man rush can get to him, which it didn't, but I guess sometimes you can only do so much when facing guys like Brady and Mahomes.

I know many Buffalo fans will be upset and calling for heads, but I doubt any staff can do much better than they did. Benford was a big loss for sure.

Turnovers are somewhat random, especially fumbles.

Ertz had 11 catches for 104, mostly versus DeJean. Kelce should have a big game. Hollywood has given their offense a boost, Worthy has improved as the season progressed. If Mahomes can avoid Carter & Company, I think he has a very good game.

Give Allen the ball in the shotgun and he finds a hole with a head of steam instead of piling up with 20 bodies blocking his way, let Allen play fake and run around the end like Mahomes does all day. Give Allen pass/run option. Tush push was not working at all why keep trying? This loss is on the Bills play caller.

The Bills were 77% on the season converting those. They’ve been really really good at those for years with Josh. I do tend to agree that they should have moved away from it when it wasn’t working, but I also get why they thought they could stick with it and make it work.

Sometimes you just have to credit the other team for making really good plays. Chris Jones is really really good.

Damn
2 best defenses in the NFL in the Super Bowl, who says its all about offense?
Steelers finally made another Super Bowl?
Huh?
Someone tell him Steeler D stinks in the playoffs every time for the past 8 seasons
Out of respect for the 4 teams playing this weekend, I’m disgusted the Steelers were even mentioned in any of the threads.
Agree, they aren't even in the same stratosphere with these teams, coaches included. McDermott is horrible but Tomlin is worse

And uhhh Coach

Although I think the Philly coaching staff is criminally underrated in this forum.
Well - they don’t stack up to Reid/Spags

I would also just like to say, if the bills don’t kick that chicken **** field goal in the first quarter and score a td there they win the game. Gotta get aggressive to tilt these games! Oh well play another 20 games next season to lose to Mahomes again I guess!

Sigh. I can’t stand the chiefs. Kelce should be flagged for taunting at least once a game. Other than that the officiating was decent. Except 74 still lines up in the backfield 70% of the time.

Let’s go iggles!

During the national anthem my daughter asked what’s wrong with that guy, it looks like he’s having a hard time breathing, just standing there. :lmao:
