Wife has a broker coming in to there school to discuss/sell some Aflac insurance products. She brought some brochures home and iDK much about them but it seems odd. They have programs like “accident advantage” where they claim to pay you if you go to the ER and stuff.  Idk, I didn’t think insurance worked like that or was worth it for little things.  
 

anyone have 1st hand knowledge of their programs?

I can sell it, but don't.  They sell insurance for very specific things (called supplemental) - like accidents, cancer, hospital stays.  Sure, health insurance does the exact same things, and covers all of that, but the aflac comes in before your deductible and can pay for your out of pocket expenses. 

Generally speaking, it's not worth it.

Yeah, Aflac insurance programs are like single 0 Roulette at a casino.  Very high house odds.  And they fired Gilbert Gottfried as the voice of the duck because he made Tsunami jokes on Twitter a few years back and a lot of their business is in Japan.

Maybe: the brochures my wife came home with were:

Cancer Care (3 types—Classic, Select & Premier)
Accident Advantage
Choice (Hospital care)
Short -Term Disablity

In my experience it’s just short term disability.
