Is there any reason to be alarmed? What type of numbers do you expect from him going forward? Should he be benched until he starts putting up numbers?

I'm not overly concerned yet. The Giants had only 16 rushing plays and 20 completed passes last week, so there were not a great deal of opportunities to make plays, especially tackles.

Not to give away any subscriber content....but the week 3 projections for Hawk vs. San Diego have him getting substantially more tackles than he has so far this year.

Is this feasible? The guy is averaging one tackle per quarter over the last two games. I'm afraid to sit a guy who has performed much better so far this year to play AJ, but the lineup cheatsheet says Hawk is the guy to start.

What exactly is the logic behind him improving so much? (basically from being the #73 LB to top 10 this week) And why is he struggling? Is Barnett just getting to the ball faster than Hawk? I know their overall team defense is improved, could that be part of the problem? I haven't gotten to see any Green Bay games yet this year and I'm curious to know what is really going on. I know the opposing teams haven't been running a lot of plays, but it isn't really hurting Barnett.

I drafted AJ as my #1 LB and he hurt me in week 1 and then I sat him last week and am very glad I did. I guess I'm just scared to start him this week until I see something. I'm still not sure......I guess I'll post a WDIS in the IDPACF.

According to my Green Bay homers/friends, Hawk is being impacted by a healthy Barnett and the Packers not blitzing him as much. Since the Packers are getting plenty of pressure with their front 4, there isn't as much of a need to blitz Hawk and that's affecting his stats. He should have a good game (stats wise) against the Chargers since San Diego's bread and butter (Gates and LT) should give Hawk plenty of opportunities to make plays.
