Alice In Chains (1 Viewer)

Stevie ray owned unplugged. Tesla even though it wasn't mtv, pearl jam and chains were all awesome.
You know what's weird? Tesla aged well. Some corny lyrics, but they weren't as bad as I thought they were.
unlike most "hair" bands, Tesla had some talent and could actually play.

However I remember buying their debut album when I first heard modern day cowboy and cam away disappointed with that album as a whole.

Yeah, I remember that. When they were being "pushed" by the industry, they disappointed. But if you lower the bar just enough...not bad. Heaven's Trail is kind of a cool anthem. Better than most bands ever do.

We Die Young from Facelift never gets it's due, love the riff in this.

Great choice!

AIC and Corrosion of Conformity are two bands that never really get the credit they deserve for being great bands.

Any C.O.C. fans here?

ETA:Avoid the softball if you can :lmao:
:headbang:

With and without Pepper. Great band.
I prefer them with Pepper but agree they have been great with and without.

Check out Wiseblood if you haven't yet, some really good tracks on that as well but agree those 2 are the best.

Saw them at the 9:30 Club here in D.C. a couple of times and went away loving them even more because of how good they were live.First show was 96' I believe near Christmas time and it may have been one of the best shows I've ever attended.

Still my all time favorite band. And I agree with BSS -- Jar of Flies is one of the greatest EPs ever.
My friends had a MJ infused argument while camping in the woods of New Hampshire about 18 years ago and the discussion lives on today when we see each other. If you took Jar Of Flies and SAP and combined them into one record would it be the best album in the catalog (Dirt, although we have a few in our circle who say Facelift)?

I'm still partial to Dirt, but I've wavered throughout the years.

I see Tesla live whenever they come around and I hear about it. Last time I saw em was a couple years ago at the House of Blues in Orlando. Great show. And I disagree about Mechanical Resonance...IMO its one of the better debut albums of their time/genre.

Coming Atcha Live

EZ come ez go

Modern Day Cowboy

Little Suzi

Getting Better

Changes

Love Me

Before My Eyes

Some cheesy lyrics aside, all good songs.
