Some pretty intense thoughts on a few of these teams, I might as well put mine up for evaluation and see where people's opinions fall:
--QB--
Tom Brady NEP
Not an exciting pick, but I'll take a guy who is knocking on the door of 4000 / 25 every year in the 7th round. Taken just before the sexier pick of Leftwich, but I'll take consistancy coupled with upside over just the promise of upside any day.
--RB--
Priest Holmes KCC
Having him on your team means that you can be assured of a playoff run, assuming you don't completely guff up the rest of your roster.
Charlie Garner TBB
Perennially undervalued, I think reuniting him with Gruden and plugging him into a (soon to be) run friendly offense will bring him back to his former self.
Chris Brown TEN
He showed speed, he has the size, and only an aging George stands in his way of being a good performer. I'll take his upside at RB3.
--WR--
Terrell Owens PHI
A beast. He put up 1100/9 during a year when everything seemed to go wrong. Now he is on the team he wants to be on, with a hungry talented QB dying to get him the ball. He will buck the bad odds that WRs usually face when changing teams.
Amani Toomer NYG
Rack him for at least 1000/5.
Keenan McCardell TBB
Rack him for at least 1000/5.
I haven't written up an evaluation of a team I drafted for a few years, it was fun to do. It isn't a typical team that I draft, but it seems like many of the other guys in this draft have tended to go for the younger more upside-driven guys that I usually snatch up. So I've pretty much just been grabbing a bunch of steady eddies, and hoping that paired with Holmes, that they will be more than enough.
