Allergy meds (1 Viewer)

I started allergy shots 2.5 years ago. It has made a world of difference for me and I highly recommend it to anyone that has serious allergy symptoms.

I get shots every 14-42 days and take no other meds routinely. I went from getting 4+ sinus infections every year to not having any the last 2 years. I will take Zyrtec and/or Nasacort when I have 'flare ups' but that is more for maintenance than anything else. Also the sinus rinse/netipot works well for fighting off flare ups.

Good luck Sheik. As a side note, my allergy doc says Zyrtec is the strongest and you can take more than one/day but not for extended periods of time. Oh, and showering before bed helps me also so that I'm not sleeping w/ allergens in my hair or on my body.

I rarely have to take meds any more since using the Sinus Rinse daily, but every once in a while I have a flare up and I keep some Clarinex-D (prescription) on hand for such occasions.
