With TO out and 85 gimpy, do Caldwell and Shipley become more a factor now? Who now runs TO's routes, Shipley or Caldwell?

Homers?

I expect he will get at least low end Ocho production, which is like 4 for 40. And he could produce as much as 6 for 100 and a TD on the high end. I think he is starting from what I have read.

I would roll with him...but for him facing the Chargers and their # 1 ranked pass defense.

It will be interesting to see what happens. There are worse options out there I suppose, but I'd also check the weather in Cincy as that may be a factor.

I think the Bengals are going to probably try and run the ball a bunch like they did last week and probably get Gresham involved more, if anything. Of course the pattern for the Bengals this year has been to fall behind by 17 and then start throwing all over the place, catch up (or almost catch up) and then implode at the end. They may very well spread the ball around to all the young receivers and deal Cosby and Simpson in a bit.

I guess I'd say he's worth a shot in the dark if you are desperate, but I'd be surprised if he put up any numbers the way, say, Owens did earlier in the year.

Staying away and I have Shipley as an option for a WR3....just staying away. SD the best pass defense and Palmer has been brutal of late.

I simply can't decide if Ochocinco being out helps or hurts him. Caldwell might draw the coverage now, but could also look to get some more targets. He had 6 targets last week, and caught 4 for 89. Not great, but in a PPR league he could be a decent flex/wr3.

I would project him for 7-10 targets this week, not a lot of options. 5-6 receptions and then whatever his yards, maybe a 30-40% chance of a TD. Doube digits is always welcome on my roster.

I don't think Caldwell has the same skill set that would warrant SD's coverage to move his way, although he IS one of the fastest players on the team. I see Gresham getting more involved between the numbers, hopefully taking any attention away from Caldwell.

Caldwell will be in a lot.

Blocking for Benson. (This is how he was getting into the game in previous weeks.)

Wouldn't shock me if Ced broke 40 carries this week.

Hard to run 40 times when your defense can't stop anyone. They're gonna be chucking it all day once they fall behind like always.

LOL maybe - but with Bratkowski Run-Run-Pass-Punt is always the first page of the playbook :football: -QG

Late bump - Shipley and Caldwell both available to me. Either worth a look? I don't trust Moreno or Brown, who are my other two options.

Which Brown? Scoring system matters here as if Moreno is healthy enough to start he's the play.-QG

Donald Brown...PPR. My head is spinning. Moreno is starting, so I should probably just stick with him. Can't afford 1 point like last week however...ETA - If you don't think Caldwell or Shipley are worth it, I'll take your advice as a Bengals fan. Thanks.

Oops. Hope this didn't kill you too badly. Though, Moreno being active would've pushed me to that conclusion. Caldwell finished 4/87/0 and Shipley finished 1/3/1 so I don't know that I was that far out of line with my assessment. Happy I was wrong as suddenly we look like a team with 4 good young receiving options.-QG
