An inside person on the Eagles has told us that Terrell Owens will be suspended by the team. Andy Reid has a press conference scheduled for 12:45PM EST. No word on what the press conference is for, but just putting this out there that he might be suspended.

TAKE IT FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH:================================================Just received this information from my close friend at the EAGLES.Here's the message:Andy and Heckert met with TO this morning and plan to meet again at 11am. Heckert says “he’s gone” and they will most likely suspend him.I hope they don’t cut him. They should give him the Keyshawn treatment (sit at home and watch the rest of the season). I don’t want him playing for anyone else this year.TO is dead to me.

 
Go Reid!!! This would be huge news.Isn't this why he fell in a lot of drafts? His attitude was a problem in the beginning of the season and now it seems to be coming back. There were questions with regard to how like the Eagles organization would put up with it. I know it wasn't that long ago, but I am old and losing my memory :) .

Nothing on espn news about it yet...in fact they just said that TO practiced and has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday.

Oddly enough I think it may help them. This team is having and identity crisis and they need to come together more than they need T.O. in my opinion. He's definitely a cancer at the moment.I could be wrong though. It wouldn't be the first time :) .

 
Let's wait for the press conference. This COULD be false information. I just wanted to aler t owners that it might be true. Owens saying the Eagles would be 7-0 with Favre might be the last straw.

Since they always cower to TO anyway, maybe it's to announce a trade of McNabb for Favre. :hophead:

Is this an unusual move to call a press conference at this time of the week? Seems like it. Hope he's not suspended, just traded for him last week. :(
 
When asked if the Eagles would be 7-0 if Brett Favre were the quarterback, Owens said: "That's a good assessment. I'd agree with that. A number of commentators will say he's a warrior, he's played with injuries. I feel like him being knowledgeable about the quarterback position, I feel like we'd probably be in a better situation." Then Owens added: "If Donovan (McNabb) wasn't hurt our record would probably be better."

I finally got around to reading the quote from Owens. Wow, this is being blown out of proportion.
 
you could go to the eagles official site and either watch or listen to it live. I can't cause I'm at work.

I think this is a regular weekly thing.

well, he basically was saying Favre paly's through injuries and is a warrior. Then says if McNabb wasn't injured we would be better.Not all as bad as the media made it out to be, but at the same time stating your QB is not a warrior because he is only good when not injured isn't exactly good.
