Hasn't started yet, some tv guy was on saying that Reid will comment about TO and McNabb, adding that McNabb practiced today. Now they are just sitting around BS'ing waiting for Reid.

 
Na, about 10 minutes ago they said there was an interview coming up in less than 20 minutes.it also states it on philadelphiaeagles.com.

He also called out te organizationonce again:

"That right there just shows you the type of class and integrity that they claim not to be," said Owens, who became the sixth receiver in NFL history to reach the milestone. "They claim to be first class and the best organization. It's an embarrassment. It just shows a lack of class they have. My publicist talked to the head PR guy, and they made an excuse they didn't recognize that was coming up. But that was a blatant lie. Had it been somebody else, they probably would have popped fireworks around the stadium."

this must be a joke. what would they suspend him for? players have said much worse than this. he never even called out his own guy. he basically said mcnabb is really hurt and if he was healthy things would be fine and if we had a favre we would be fine. if they suspend him for this he will sue and sue some more.

 
I would guess the conference is more about the injury status of McNabb and TO, and Reid will make some sort of veiled comment about the TO quote.:burstsbubble:

 
The only way this rumor makes any sense is if Reid had a face-to-face with TO this morning and it went very badly. The quote was bad, but nowhere near the level you would suspend a top player for.

I'll bet it is to announce the Eagles have removed every run play from their playbook.

If a suspension occurs I'm guessing you are right. The quote isn't bad, but TO just can't keep his mouth shut. It wouldn't have surprised me if he popped off to Reid.

There hasn't been this much trepidation around here since the waiver wire process for Kevin Johnson last year. :yawn:

I agree with your point except I think TO has turned that locker room into a cancer with his stupid issues with his contract. He's made everyone else start chirping about their contract and TO can never get the ball enough, despite being targetted and thrown to more than any other WR in the NFL. It's never enough and he has put himself far above the team. Since football is a team sport, I think Reid has to deal with this situation swiftly or the Eagles are going to lose more than making the play-offs; their franchise is going to be in chaotic disarray for years to come.

It may take a bit longer because the coaching staff would have to find those pages before they could rip them out.
